I spent today with Cindy's DGD.

We spent the day together with my DGD and DD
DD and I got out our scrapbook supplies then went to the Disney Store to pick up
a few MORE things from their sale that we didn't get on Thursday.

For those of you that don't know...
The Disney Store is having a HUGE SALE.
Everything is cheap PLUS 40% off of that!

I managed to get Cindy's DGD back home just in time for her to get picked up
and for the "spend the night" kids to be dropped off.

I even managed to scrap TWO pages for my scrapbook. I feel so accomplished.
Tomorrow I'll try to do 2 more pages.

And of course, my DGD and I went BACK to the Disney store after I picked her up from Sandy's
We also found a few more things we just had to have
Now, it's just figuring out where to put everything. I thought I'd pick up a few things for the cruise, but now I'm pretty sure they'll all be worn out by then
BUT, we made an important decision over dinner.
We're going to Disneyland for my birthday in 3 weeks.....
Fortunately, my DGD was willing to go with me

Sounds like you had a fun and productive day! Good luck on getting 2 more pages in the scraping book done.

I wish the Disney store were closer to me. It seams like you and Cindy have found some good deals. For me to go to one it is about20 minutes a way and in a very crowed shopping center Woodsfield. But we are going for the Grand Opening of the DVC sore on August 1st. Will let you know about it. Then I will take a look at the store.

To be more exact I am just a nut. A nice one though! I love going into craft stores.

Today while Danny is working on the cabinets I am going to Michael’s (craft) to see what they have. I am staying out of his way. When the cabinets finally got here yesterday they forgot one of them at the store. So he is not a happy camper.

Flo... what is the DVC store? When/What are they opening? Where/what is this and do I want/need one?
Will they sell stuff or just shares? I have a hat, bag, buttons, and lanyard...
What else could I get... be sure to let me know...

And I hope you get all your cabinets real soon... I bet Danny was fit to be tied when one didn't show up...
I know my DH would have pitched a fit because that would have been the ONE that he wanted to do first!

The DVC store is like a pilot store. You can go in there and by DVC points. It is called Disney’s Doorway to Dreams. They are supposed to have a model room of Animal Kingdom Rooms in there. I am not sure if you can buy any thing. The grand opening for DVC members is August 1st thru the 3rd. Not sure what date we are going. I will take my camera and take pictures then post on cruise site. I cannot wait to see it either. All I have right now is a post card. They say we are to be receiving more info before it opens.

Yes, he was fit to be tied. They also could not bring one of the counter tops because when they got it on the truck some thing was wrong. They are coming back today. When we have everything in hand I am going to send e-mail to Lows. This is not right. When we ordered are Frig from them they are supposed to take the old one and they could not fit the whole thing. But they have good prices and they know it. Oh well.

Ok! I am back. I must say I was a little disappointed in Michaels. I got some things but I thought they would have more. Oh Well! I was looking at there beads. Being a craft store I figured they would have a lot, well they didn’t. I was looking for Disney ones. Did not see a one. They did not have many others then the plastic ones.

I did stop at other stores thought. I bought new pillows from Bed Bath and Beyond and also bought Steven a Miller Light bucket with for glasses. It was on sale. Then I went to Target and got a Bon Jovie CD. They said he did a country one and I just have to hear it.

I was just enjoying myself. No one asking me if I was done yet.

How is everyone else Sunday going? Good I hope.

Too bad about the counter top and NO Disney beads at Michaels...
I don't think I have EVER seen Disney beads. Where have you gotten them in the past?
What do they look like, and what kind are they??? Are they the ones that are sold at the park
that you make necklaces out of? Minnie and Mickey hands and shoes and such?
Is that what you are looking for?

I on the other hand, found all kinds of stuff at Michaels.
DD and I went to get a few things... I needed a Nemo fish or a shark or something to that effect to put on a fishing page.
So of course I found those and WAY more stuff than I needed.. I found all kinds of cute pretty paper...
princess looking sheets and LOTS of pirate/cruise stuff for our scrap exchange and some ribbons and stickers,
flags, red, white, blue ribbons for 4th of July, lots of stuff... I went WAY over what I thought I would spend,
but OH WELL... its my birthday tomorrow and I'm worth it.

I think the reason there was not much to is that it is a new store. They have only been open maybe 3 months. The other one that I go to is much better so I will betaking a reid there soon. Thisone was closer so I thought I would try. Yes I am looking for the beads like shoes and such. I want to make something as a suprise. It is like the neckles that they sell in the parks.
They just called a little while ago saying that they would be here tomorrow. But I had already sent an e mail to Lowe's corporate telling them what is going on. I don't care what amount you spend in a store you are still a customer.
I did a search for the Mickey, Minnie beads etc. BUt they wants like 45.00 for them because there were silver and gold.
I think that since tomorrow is your B-Day that you should get any thing you want that is Disney.

Well I'm feeling very accomplished.
I finished 2 more scrapbook pages today... and they look great, even if I have to say so myself!

I think you are doing the right thing by contacting Lowe's corporate...
They need to know that you aren't happy so that things aren't just fluffed over. Good for you.

Hi Everyone! I am sooo . I stoped at Wal Mart after work and I was backing out and the person across from me was not paying attention. He hit my Drivers door and book the window and evything. He was Driving a Toyota Sequoia and I drive a Hyundai Elanta. Need I say more. He hit me so hard it was hard for him to come loose. But the good news is none got hurt.

So Cindy my whells are going to have to wait. I will not have my car for a while.
