Jun 3, 2011 Disney Dream

Hello all...looking through the last few pages, and I see a few mentions of meet and greet, but no details. Just wondering if we have a place/time. Thanks!

This was posted quite a while back about meet and greet locations. I am thinking that this looks like a good place.....Deck 13 forward. We probably need to have a back up location in case it is raining. Maybe the Bon Voyage bar?

I am thinking either 2:30 or 3:00 for the time?

Please put your thoughts in and please feel free to research other locations that have worked for other groups.

Daisy

Hi
Placed question on main board and so far I received this suggestions!

I started a thread about this earlier this week and only got one response...the two places I have seen suggested are an open area on Deck 13 forward and the Bon Boyage bar just off the atrium. The Deck 13 forward area looks like a better spot as it has lots of seating and is in the open air, but that means weather is of course a concern...the Bon Voyage bar is in an awesome location but seems to be a bit small.

There a link to my thread from last week, incl. photos of the deck 13 area.

There's info on Bon Voyage, which includes a 360-degree viewer.

Hoping some more people and past Dream cruisers will tell us what places have been successful! My meet thread still isn't 100% decided on a location

As for a time, my first cruise two summers ago met up at around 2:30 PM, which gave everyone plenty of time to get settled and eat lunch but also left a good hour or so before we needed to get ready for the muster drill. Without the need for life jackets on the Dream, you might even be able to move your meet back to 3:00. DH and I were on board right around noon two summers ago and had tons of time to explore the ship, grab a drink by the pool, and get settled in our room before heading out to the cruise meet.

I am also a newbie. I would love to register for the Fish Extenders if possible. We are celebrating my 17 yo son's graduation. I also have a 13yo boy. This is our first cruise and we don't know what to do!

Hi PrincessDuck, 3:00 on Deck 12 sounds good to me. I can't believe that our trip is so close. I will be leaving for WDW on May 28th and would love to iron our the details of our meeting before I leave since I probably won't be checking email much on my vacation. Thanks for organizing this!

Oops! Sorry scrappinpooh, I saw that you shared your room number already.

Poohs4me--do you have your stateroom numbers yet? pirate:

Recheck the spreadsheet....i believe that all the room numbers have been updated. If not, let me know. They should have saved so that you can see them.

Just going to quote myself so that the link is in a more current post. Please double check the spreadsheet! All cabin numbers are on there for everyone that is participating in the Fish Extender.

Above is the link for the Fish Extender spreadsheet!! I have updated most of it. I am looking back thru the thread to see if I missed something.

Please look it over and PM if there is any incorrect info on it or if you need to add some info.

ETA: Even if you are not participating in the FE please look at the spreadsheet. The top portion is everyone that is participating and the bottom portion is everyone else!!!

WHOA!!! I would LOVE to be a part of the Fish Extender group. My 11 DD would be tickled if I could still get us signed up. I see that you closed it down. Blame it on being a first timer. If it's too late to sign up, that is fine. Just let me know....

13 days before we leave for Florida!!! spending a day at DisneyWorld first and here we come DC!!!!!

There are 9 of us BTW!:grouphug:

I am sorry to say that you are too late to participate in the FE. It closed on the 22nd of April so that everyone would have time to gather their stuff.

Just noticed on spread sheet small mistake...Keigan is a 15 year old girl not a boy :)

Those that have done fish extenders in past ever have any problems with people stealing them? Didn't know if there is a better time of day to deliver them. Just finished getting them done but now wondering how to pack them:scared1:

Really Ok my fault for not saying female or male. Keigan is really a boys name :) Thanks!!

I am brand new to the DisBoards and a first time Disney Cruiser...We will be on the cruise (The Dream) on June 3-7...what are "fish extenders?" I have a 4 yr old boy and if it involves gifts, i know he would love to participate...any advice?

4. Sign-ups for the FE will close 6 weeks before sail date. This gives everyone a chance to finish things up before the cruise. This date will be April 22, 2011.

just trying to make this fair.

Boo Hiss on ME not getting on here months ago...Oh well, maybe next cruise I will know better!

May I still be a part of this thread?
