I suspect a lot of people are holding reservations that they will eventually cancel. If we make our final payment and Disney drops the price will they give us the better deal? Disney encourages early booking so it would be kind of a shock if they penalized us for doing so.

By the way, did any of you recieve the disney cruise packet with all the excursion info etc.... I was so excited to recieve anything. you should have seen me.... (imagine grown woman walking entire block back from mailbox in 10* weather skipping and jumping the entire way.) of course i patiently waited for my husband to sit down and open it with me..... but it was pretty nice to have something solid and in hand about the cruise.

I was told that even after we make our final payment, if rates go down, we get the drop in rates, too. I'm excited to see if they are going to offer FL resident rates...

also, I didnt receive the booklet on excursions.....I'm still working off your XL spreadsheet!

I am still working off the pdf too, i look at this packet as something to throw in the back of a photo album. (of which i am very bad about making )

I didn't know we would be able to get a price break, though it seems that the cat 12 gty i have has maintained so far.

really it isn't much you should see what i have done with it to personalize my options... i have the avg price of the excursions i am interested in and the top three linked onto my budget page. Yes i am a data geek....

Our family has decided to jump ship and join those the Transatlantic crossing and first 11 Day cruises.

It was a tough call but the land days we were putting together became too expensive and the low rates on the crossing cruise was too good to pass on.

Enjoy your cruise. I know it will be filled with great guests to befriend.

Just saying "hello" and joining in on the discussion. We, too, are booked on this cruise and are thrilled as can be! Been doing lots of research and planning ---it's kinda mind-boggling to make all these decisions about excursions.

We are a group of 9 people of mixed ages.....myself, DH, DS 6, DS 5, my sister, brother-in-law, brother, and my parents.

We are doing a stay at Disneyland Paris prior to the trip, which I am also just jumping up and down about. I'm so thrilled...words can't express!

Anyway...just joining in and wondering what plans you all are making for the ports/excursions.
