We have docs !!! Now if we have them surely you must have them as we are from the UK ( think most of you know that by now !! )

I have sorted small gifts - please do not get excited in any way ! It's more of a token gesture thing I think and the buzz of coming back to your room to find stuff !

Next question - do we all walk around looking for Disers rooms so getting exercise and allowing us to eat even more food or do we declare cabin numbers ...... and promise not to knock on each others doors as we may be 'resting' . !!!

we got the docs on friday and then promptly left for the 6 hour trip to cleveland to spend 36 hours celebrating my brother's graduation to spend 6 hours driving back.... im tired.

has anyone downloaded the ipod stuff they mentioned in the docs? I haven't gone the the website yet hope to do it tonight.


6133 is our current cabin. since we are gty there is a small chance they could move us if they wanted....

Other threads were talking about nametags, lanyards, candy(for a group movie night), wine (for a wine tasting party), rubber ingraved bracelets, magnets & postcards, I am thinking the the smaller the better if anything.... (bandaids might be a good idea with all the walking we are going to be doing) .....

Wow...that's a lot of stuff to get ready and take over...how about we do an optional gift giving of small ($1-2 or under) and light gifts. Still not sure about logistics. Wandering hallways??

My travel agent said my documents are on their way and should be here in a couple of days...

Okay, lot's to catch up as I have been out of town. First of all, I have my docs too. However, I have no idea what the IPOD stuff is all about. Can someone fill me in? My docs have very little information in them. I made all of my air reservations myself using miles. Therefore, I have no ties to the cruise that way. I made my other reservations through the website. So, essentially I have slim to no information in my docs packet. I don't know if that is adequate...to be honest with you, this is my first ever cruise. I am a vacation club member, so we usually spend our time in Florida.

Secondly, I think I can do the small gifts. May not be what some have in mine, but I think I can manage.

Finally, my partner (Maggie, 33) and I live in Greenville, NC. I got a kick out of reading where everyone else is from....all big places, Houston, San Francisco, etc. etc. etc. I'm sure few if any have ever heard of Greenville. We are situated between Raleigh (the capital) and the Atlantic ocean.
I have lived in NC all of my life. Maggie was born and raised in Poland, lived several years in Germany and then came to the US. The trip is a celebration for her EdD that she just received two weeks ago.

DONE...and one more vent, what the heck am i thinking bringing a bunch of teens on my family vacation??? just wondering if i have lost my mind!!????!?!??!?!?!?!??!?!

oh wait.... it's my head that rolled off!! look yall, i found it!!!

Bumpidy Bump!

No more Monday's at work for me!!!

10-1/2 days, 257 hours, 96 hours of sleep, 59 hours of work, 14 more hours at the gym, and 26.5 miles on the treadmill!!!!

So excited!

We leave our home on June 2nd at 4:30am and arrive in Rome on June 3 at 8:00 am.

Joe (34) and Hayley (30) living in LA as Sharolyn said. Hayley is from Houston and I grew up in Youngstown, Oh but have lived in various places since 18: Orlando, Saratoga Springs, Annapolis, Orlando, Saratoga Springs, Groton, DC, Beaumont, Houston, DC, and finally LA.

This trip is ~ our 1 yr anniversary (June 18)

I'm planning on bringing one item per cabin. Guessing around 30??? I'd like to think I can squeeze them into the suitcase, but more likely I'll be carrying-on. DH just says "WOW" to all the stuff I want to bring. I'll have to make some sacrificies this weekend.

About the gift exchange (it's more fun to focus on the gift exchange than on all the work and packing that needs to be done in the next week ) Do we want to give them out at the meet and greet or surprise people by dropping them off at their cabins?

If we want to do the cabins, I guess I can volunteer to keep a list of people who want to exchange with cabin numbers (although I did think of volunteering funnybunny921, since she's been so good at keeping track of us ) and I could make copies of the list and distribute at the meet and greet. Or is this getting too complicated??

We leave next Thursday night. So much to do before then...
