Jumping January Exercise Challenge

I'm officially in taper for this weekend but I did workout in the gym (less than usual) and ran a light workout yesterday morning. I leave on Thursday and I am so ready to get started on this race weekend.
The pool workouts sounds so interesting.

Good luck mrs AR! Which race(s) are you running? I have serious WDW race-cation envy this weekend. Happens every year! I'm setting my sights on 2017 marathon weekend I think.

I woke up w a cold. Grrrrr. Sore throat, runny nose. Took some cold eze today and hopefully that will shorten it. I still worked out tonight tho because.... Tomorrow is my schedules rest day which means I technically made it through the first week of p90x3! I can't believe I didn't miss a day yet! I'm sure it will happen but I really want to see if I can do this challenge. Today was a tough workout for me. I have a bad leg/knee and despite all my pt and running, it's not as strong as my other leg yet. This series is realy going to help it but wowsers, tough day.

Oh- and resolutions- yes! I make a ton of them! Some are year long habits to change or work on, others are more like projects I finally want to get accomplished. I've never done them all, all year but I go big and then at least what I do get done- is more than if I hadn't set the goals in the first ace. I'm a big believer in writing down your goals and plans. So a friend and I exchange year end lists of what we felt good about the current year and what we want to do in the next.

Go team blue!

I'm not a fan of the treadmill either. tomorrow it might get above 10 degrees, now I just need to find some clear pavement that isn't in the center of a highway.

Horray! for nearly 10% as a group. That's awesome!!

24 minutes for me -

244/1000

Resolutions - mine is to send out more actual honest-to goodness, slap a stamp on it and take it to the post office, letters. But here's the thing, after years of communicating with friends and extended family electronically, I'm learning that I really don't know many people's actual addresses. Which is sort of sad, don't you think?

I'm up to 120/930 minutes, mainly riding an exercise bike in my living room. It's too cold to do anything outside this week.

My resolution for this year is to step outside of my comfort zone and try new things. I figured there were so many ways to do this, including joining here, that this is one resolution that I was sure to succeed at.

12 minutes walking today

149/1000

I'm not a huge resolution person, I more focus on goals.
My goals for the year are:
1 - learn to use social media (at my age, social media should be second nature to me, and it's not)
2 - Try to maintain a 10-minute-per-day exercise streak for at least a month at a time (I know it'll probably die eventually, but when I does, I want it to be after a month and I to be able to start over and get another month-long streak)
3 - Design my own website (right now my website is hosted on WordPress using one of their templates, but I want to learn to create my own website completely from scratch)

Figment. I'm running Goofy (scared). My daughter has decided to run the full with me again so I'm really looking forward to that. She is a much faster runner than me so I wasn't sure if she would this year but we had a great time last year for the marathon. I leave tomorrow morning and can hardly wait. I loved marathon weekend last year. I highly recommend it.

Hello, just got back from DisneyWorld 6 nights @ wilderness Lodge. I noticed on my new iPhone6 that I walked 19,000 steps while we were @ Epcot. I averaged 16,000 steps all week and since I have been home (Las Vegas) barely reach 1,000 steps a day:crazy2:

So I took the plunge & signed up for Tinkerbell 1/2 Marathon via a travel agency on runDisney site or otherwise sold out. I'm planning on mostly walking due to bad knees & ankles. Thought this would motivate me. Plus will try to get back to bikram yoga (like hot yoga) to strengthen my ankles

My goal is 800min this mo 40m times 5 days a week walking rest of month
40/800. Thanks:cheer2:.

Adding 80 minutes today at the Gym and PT. 60 minutes this past weekend. 25 degrees this morning!

140/900 so far

38 minutes for me today. It was warm enough to run outside -hooray!!!

282/1000 :)

Still on target to do this every day this month and that was after a rough day physically at work. 140/620

Everyone is looking great! I listened to reason today and did not venture outside, instead I worked out on the elliptical.

60 minutes today, 227/1600
