35 minutes yesterday of cardio and stretching, although I took it easy on myself because of the 3-day refresh.

The 3-day refresh is going very well for me so far. I'm a lot less hungry than I expected. The only time really was yesterday morning, because I start off with Shakeology for breakfast plus a fruit serving, but then I only get to have a fiber drink mid-morning and that's it until my lunch. I was pretty hungry by the time it was time for the fiber drink, but it sure filled me up once I drank it.

This morning I started out with my shakeology, plus banana and my coffee. I drank the fiber drink a little while ago, but today I was a lot less hungry in the morning between breakfast and the fiber drink. Today's lunch is salad with olive oil and apple cider vinegar, plus fresh cherries plus the vanilla fresh protein shake. I changed up my afternoon snack and I'm having grape tomatoes, cucumber slices and avocado with a squeeze of fresh lime and a little fresh cilantro all mixed together. I haven't decided on my veggies for dinner, but I will probably either have a spinach salad with olive oil and vinegar and seasonings, or some cooked green beans and asparagus with olive oil, lemon and a little garlic. Dinner goes along with another vanilla fresh shake. Last night I added cinnamon to my shake and it was delicious.

I'm feeling much better than I expected on this refresh. But the one thing I did notice was that I didn't have as much energy as usual when I exercised yesterday. Today I'm scheduled to do a bicep-tricep-leg strength training workout, but we will see if I have enough energy for it.

23 minutes walking yesterday

Woke up this morning with a sore throat ... I'm hoping that I'm not getting sick. It's really not a great time for me to be sick.

I've been out walking/running and just enjoying the nice weather here....

45 minutes of strength training yesterday.

Today is the third and final day of the 3-day refresh. My hunger has definitely dwindled from eating all of these healthy things that really fill me up! I felt a little bloated last night and this morning but that has passed. I also notice that my quality of sleep seems to have improved. I feel much more rested in the morning even though I'm getting the same amount of sleep as usual. Cravings for chocolate and sweets and starchy foods are also completely gone. I'm curious to see tomorrow on the scale if I lost weight from doing this, and inches as well. My pants feel bigger on me today so I'm sure there is some significant inch-loss at the very least even if it's not pound loss. I'll report my results tomorrow!

28 minutes walking yesterday
40 minutes on the treadmill today

730/1000

I woke up sick yesterday, but somehow made it through the day. Today ... I don't know if I will. I was planning to run in the park today, but didn't want to with a sore throat and cold weather (which also bothers my throat), so I went on the treadmill instead, planning to do about an hour ... and cut that short too. I hate being sick.

Feel better Sarah.

520/800 :badpc: I gained weight, about 2 lbs. I think maybe I'm overestimated & eating too much still. :worship: Hopefully, it's muscle coming back.

TXAggs, oh we just received fabulous news (this week) our son got accepted to the Engr College @ Texas A & M. Freshman 2015, Class 2019. This is the first year (I was told that), the students go through a second round of Review due to the thousands of applicants in the Engineer College.

Updated to here!

As a team we have passed the 50% mark! Yeah Us!!

Still looking for a host for Feb :) Any takers?

Thats awesome! The whole event sounds pretty cool actually!

That sounds like fun – when/where is the event?

The event is amazing! As of today, it is only 4 weeks away. In fact at this time next month I will be on the road to Hershey, where we start at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, pediatric cancer unit. There are three teams - we will each run from there to Penn State main campus (different routes). Got my leg assignments the other day, finally. I have a ~8 pm leg (4 miles), a ~3 am leg (3 miles), and a ~11 am leg (3 miles). Keeping my fingers crossed for decent weather, no snow or ice!

I started the month strong, but I'm struggling a lot at the end.

Hang in there! Each day is a new day :goodvibes

Awesome! I can't wait to hear the results :cheer2:

Oh no...rest and feel better. Don't overdo it and don't beat yourself up about "short" workouts when you are sick.

I managed a slow run in the snow last night, perfect training for the event and luckily not as slippery as I had feared. 53 minutes, puts me at...

So I wrote a big long reply to everyone yesterday and somehow it didnt post. :( so I have to just say- I love hearing about what everyone is doing to stay healthy and fit. Many people hate January bc of the weather but I love the fresh start, healthy feeling it always brings me.

I did 30 min run yesterday, plus 30 min of p90x3 to catch up for my missed Sunday workout. Then another 30 min p90x3 tonight. First day of week 4!
