Ok, my other niece in FL just announced a July 2 wedding. So, are we crazy to want to do Universal July 4 - 6? We would stay on sight, but didn't they restrict/reduce FOTL last year?

Thanks

Julie

I have been to Universal three times during the July 4th holiday. Yes, the restrictions were in effect last year, but were never strictly enforced. I rode the Hulk over and over using my room key before 3:00. The restrictions only applied to five rides in each park (if enforced). It really will not interfere with your enjoyment of the parks. You can get there early and do everything you want to do and see a show. Then have lunch and before you know it, it's 3:00 and the restrictions are lifted. The parks are open late during that time of year, so you have plenty of time to enjoy your unrestricted use of FOTL.

I was there July 10-13 this year. I stayed at HRH and never had to wait in a long line with FOTL. The longest wait one day was 15 minutes for The Mummy, while the stand by line was over 2 hours long. Don't let July scare you away.

we were at US/IOA this yr for July 4 weekend. The only day they enforced the limit on FOTL was on Monday (the 5th I believe). We really enjoyed being there for the 4th.
If you stay are RPR ask for a pool view room. You should have a birds eye view of the fireworks at US/IOA/and City Walk. It was amazing.
