~JULY Pen Pal Letter & Twist Exchange~COMPLETED!

It has been a very hectic week and I cannot remember if I checked in:rotfl2:

So, I am doing so now:thumbsup2

I was out vacay at disney all last well so now I'm checking in! Sorry!

Ok I'm officially jealous;)! Spill the beans.... How was the trip? Where did you stay? What did u do? Did you get to ride the Seven Dwarfs Mine ride???:wave2:

Patsy,

I got my letter& twist today, thank you so very much for pineapple pancake mix! I can't wait to make it!

 Angela

We checked in to Pop Century on Sunday and checked out on Friday. I'm working on a trip review and will post the link here. I'm actually in the car headed home now. Won't actually get home until tomorrow night. Anyways back to the trip details....we did ride mine train...twice! I'll tell you what I learned, if you go during the busiest and hottest summer week and have no problems staying up late, then go back to MK about 11pm. It's open till 1 am regular hours, not emh. We did SO much and it was cooler and very empty. Seven dwarves line was only 30 minutes. Everything else (except for princess fairy tale hall) was 10-20 minutes or less! Princess fairy tale hall was still over an hour. We had gotten an email to do the pre order be our guest fast pass lunch and that just totally floored me! We checked in and they just told us to go in and have a seat wherever. I noticed the carts of food being pushed around and figured each person had one menu item and they would scan you or ask if you had that. I was shocked when one pulled up and said "ok I have your 2 roast beef sandwiches, 1 carved turkey, a fruit tart, a masters cupcake and a cream puff". I just sat there gaping and said" how did you know that was us?" She let the magic out and told us our magic bands are gps and that's how they locate us. Wow!

Thank you for the details! How did you like Pop? Which section did you stay in? When I went with my aunt last yr we stayed in 60s section facing the lake, down the hallway from the giant play dough. DH & I did a 1 night stay in 2012 in 50s section facing a hideous courtyard. I liked the Hippy Dippy pool better this last time vs Juxe Box pool.

I think you gave wise advice to go at night when it's cooler. We like to try to go early (I always miss rope drop by minutes, ugh) then leave afternoon for a nap or swim & go back in the evenings.

I'm so jealous that you got to ride the new mine ride!

I think BOG is awesome for lunch, I love how they find you! Which room did you choose to dine in? I did the ballroom both times, it's just so beautiful!

Have a safe drive home!

We should be hearing of a couple more arrivals any day now.

Pen pals, could you all please check in for the week. You can check in from now till Friday for this weeks roll call.
