Will Magic Kingdom really close at 10pm on July 4?

Was anyone there last year? Did they extend these closing times at all?

Seems kind of lame...

I was looking at our June trip and thought the same thing - usually that time of year - after Memorial Day to Labor Day hours are usually a lot later.

I was there for 7/4 last year. MK hours were 8AM-12AM. Fireworks were at 9PM.

FWIW, Disney has not been adjusting hours until a month or so in advance lately. I'd expect them to change here at some point.

They haven't even updated the April hours yet. I wish they would go ahead and release the updated hours. It makes planning so much easier.

They always put in shorter hours and then expand them if they want closer to date. I’m positive July 4 hours will change
