July Park Hours Question

We are going back to WDW this July the same week that we were there this past July. I looked at the hours for this July and it looks like some of the parks especially Magic Kingdom are closing earlier. I thought that last year it closed at Midnight and then was open until 2am for extra magic hours on certain nights but this July it looks Magic Kingdom is only open until 10pm and then extra magic hours go until midnight. Did anyone else notice this? Did the hours change from last year to this year or will they update them at a later date?

The calendars get updated/changed as the year progresses. So I would take the calendar that is currently available as a starting point, but know that the hours can change up until the last minute. I scanned the travel agent calendars form last year and it looks like the hours were extended at some point before July rolled around. I had the version of the July calendar released in February and there are 10:00 pm closures that became midnight in the June version of the July calendar. That doesn't mean it'll happen again this year.

The hours posted months away are always standard. They will be updated as the dates approach and the expected crowds are better known. In July, the hours will be updated to what you have experienced in the past. MK will be midnight close and EMH will be 2AM. I would be surprised if that were not the case.

MK 11:00 or 12:00
AK 8:00
Epcot 9:30
HS 10:00 with a 10:30 showing of Fantasmic
