Hello exercise buddies!!! Hard to believe we are halfway through the year already. But we are doing well on our quest for health and fitness. If you are new to the challenge, welcome. :goodvibes

As always, here is how it goes: Post up how much exercise you are committed to doing this month (and year too if you are so inclined) in whichever increment you like-ie minutes, miles, laps etc. Then post up your progress.When you post up your numbers, please do so in this format: 100/1200 (minutes done/goal). It is really helpful if I don't have to do any math. :teacher: The milestones are as follows:

10% blue
25% green
50% purple
75% orange
90% red
100% silver
Over 100% gold

Remember this is FUN and not meant to stress you out!!! I am sticking with my goal of 1200 minutes for the month.

If you participated last month, make sure to post your final results there. I am keeping track (kind of) of the yearly minutes for those doing that. And I sometimes have to refer back to it so it helps if I have your monthly totals.

Well, this is a tough one.......I finally made my minutes, it took 6 months! So, I'll go for 1300 minutes.....(I have a 7 day trip to USF & DCL this month) so hopefully, I'll be able to stay on track and work alittle harder!! Still going for 12000 for 2008!

Put me down for 800 minutes. I need to do this, I didn't even try last month and didnt' make May's. June is my month to succeed!

OK, I'm psyched! I want to do an hour a day, so that's 1860 minutes for July.

I did 9645 minutes in January through June. My original goal for the year was 12000 minutes, but I'm already getting fairly close to that, so I'm upping my 2008 goal to 18000 minutes.

So, to sum up:
Goal for July: 1860 minutes
For 2008: 9645/18000
 
I want to join!!! My goal is 1/2 hr., 4 days per week, so the monthly goal is 8 hrs. I know that sounds very low, but I'm having arthritis issues and go for an x-ray on my knee tomorrow, so I may be looking at physical therapy. Does that count? LOL!!! I WISH everyone good luck with their goal!
 
Well I didn't make my numbers for June so I'll set the same goal for July. 900 minutes. so I'm starting at 0/900.

Back for more! Last month I blew my goal out of the water! :cool1: I ended up at 2030/1600.

I am only going to up it to 1700 this month because I will be away a lot.

So, put me down for 1700. Thanks, Vern! This is my 4th month of challenges!
 
I did this challenge a year ago and have been LAZY since. Bad me! Today I am going to begin again. 30 minutes 5 times a week. 150 per week or 600 per month. Starting reasonable and going from there. Any more is a bonus. Today I am putting on my shoes as soon as I finish. Have my calendar ready and my marker poised to make the first marks. Yeah for July!!!
 
I would like to join! My goal is 1325 minutes of exercise in July. I plan to do a combination of Curves/walking on treadmill.

Ok so I'm going to try again... I got the wii fit and will be making that part of my exercise routine so I am going to go for 1300 minutes for july. :thumbsup2

Can I join? I'm going to start low on the commitment scale as I have not done this before. I'd like to challenge myself to 500 minutes for the month of July.
 
I am joining to for the first time. Please put me down for 500 minutes of walking. I know it's probably not much but I hardly have any opportunity to walk and I'm committed to trying something.
 
Okay! I'm am psyched!!! I put my shoes on and walked for 52 minutes today and then planted 4 pots of flowers and 30 little trees!!! Off to a good start .
