July Exercise Challenge - Let's Beat the Summer Heat - 35 challengers so far!

This is great, it kept me going last month! I didn't get to my goal last month but I'll try again. I'm aiming for 1000!
 
Hi, I'd like to join July please! I'll try for 1000 minutes. Today I did 20 minutes pool walking, so my total now is:

I'm in for July! I fell terribly short of my goal for June (only 500/1200 :eek:) so I'm in this time for a more modest goal of:

800

This morning I did a 35-min walk run to train for my race. Only 88 days left til we go!!
 
I would like to join in also.

I signed up for the Tink 1/2 and working on the C25K training so I will set a goal for 620.

That may not be enough and I may need to add to it but the only way to know for sure is to go for it right. :yay:
 

I completely gave up in June, but I'm back in it for another month! Going to set my goal for 1200 this month.

So far...

July 1 -

- 30 minutes swimming
- 20 minute walk

Total:

50/1200
 
I'm in for 1200. I made my goal of 1000 last month, the challenge was definitely a big time motivator. Guess I better get off the computer then and get moving ;)
 
I really enjoyed being a part of this for June, so I'm definitely looking forward to it again this month. I'm going to try for 500 this time!
 
Updated the first post with everyone's goals and starting exercise to date.

Great job everyone who has signed up so far.

Let's get some more people on board.

I've created a spreadsheet that I'm using to track and update the progress info in the first post, it also lets me sort the participants by name, so you can look for yourself alphabetically.

I also added from the spreadsheet totals for the whole group to the top of the progress section.

45 minute run. The weather here is pretty nice today so I was able to wait for my DH to get home from work and go with me.

Last night I ran/jogged/walked on the treadmeal for 40 minutes
Lift weights (lower body for 30 minutes)

Today, I walked for 15 minutes at work. I hope to do some ab work tonight...we will see. :)

I am in for 1000 minutes. I haven't done one of these in a while and it is time to get back into it. I also will be recording steps for the month. MY goal is to get 10000 per day so 310000

So far I have

45/1000 minutes 10000/310000 steps
 
Zumba was calling my name since I am not going to make it the rest of the week.
60 minute Zumba, 15 minute ab workout.

Oooh...almost forgot to post tonight. Been too busy reorganizing my closet that I haven't been on the computer :eek: Anyway I was fortunate enough to be able to go to the gym twice today. An hour Werq class this morning and an hour Strong class this evening bringing me to 120/1680.
 
105 minutes of cardio - 2 different ellipticals and recumbent bike
