July Exercise Challenge...Jump In!...Everyone Welcome!

Well I'm back after a lousy 4 days. I had some kind of GI/stomach crud which made training not a good idea. This was somewhat problematic for my 5k race I had on Saturday. I would have skipped the race but my DS was so looking forward to it. Oh well, it's over and done with and I'm feeling so much better now. On the down side, I don't think I'll make goal for this month. :worried:

Nice job! We are very colorful on page 1.

My minutes have been my usual walks and Y class plus I counted 20 minutes of the 55 we spent Monday night emptying/moving/refilling 5 big filing cabinets for the high school band director. My knees are still killing me from carrying them up the stairs. Ibuprofen is my friend. Doesn't help that I forgot to take it before I walked 7+ miles this morning! I'm sure it'll kick in any minute now! :thumbsup2

Keep up the good work, Everybody!! :yay:

Ok, we made it back from our trip, and I am determined to get back on my regular exercise schedule. I did make it to the gym at the hotel once and did bridge to 10k for 60 minutes.

Today I did bridge to 10k and a little extra for 80 minutes.

Total for the two workouts in 140 minutes.

660/1300

I managed a good 50 min run this am in the hotel fitness center. Then I had dessert at lunch AND dinner. I'd better reign it in.... My inlaws are a very bad vacation influence!

480/800

640/1200 new total

Added gym treadmill and machines. A few more minutes walking, all indoors. Car said 103 degrees when I came out of the MD office yesterday. It really was only 95.

Ever have one of those days when you fell like you're moving in mud? The most energy I could come up with was to :cloud9:. What a grey, wet, nasty day...:headache: I managed to make it through the day, get home, crawl into my sweats and into bed with the :dog:. Sometimes you just need one of those kind of days. And of course, I'm paying for it now as I feel like a big, fat :eeyore:

So, to get back on track, and to keep everyone energized for the rest of the week...

"Frankly, whoever said kicking up your heels doesn't count as a real workout hasn't seen my dashing derriere!" :lmao: :rotfl:  :rotfl2:

715/1000

57 minutes walking 4 miles then took the pup for 20 minutes before the sidewalks get too hot for her. We only went half our distance but it was so hot & humid already, I thought we should cut it short.

Thanks!
