I'm BAAAAACCCCCCKKKKKK!

Posting this early as I need to try to get back into the habit of 'Dis'ing. Things are somewhat calmer, weight is still up from October, feel yucky, tired most of the time, it's HOT & DRY here (think .19" of rain so far this year, and HIGH humidity = 10%) and motivation is REALLY lacking. I've got to start really dragging myself out to get my 5 mi in before 8 a.m.

So, as usual, commit to as many or as few minutes you WILL exercise this month. ANYTHING you consider exercise counts! Please post here something like "I'm at 21/400" or just 310/1000. That way I don't have to search to add up all your numbers.

I hear you! I have been so busy with 2 kids graduating this year that I have hardly worked out in the last several months. And my weight is up, of course.

BUT - both kids have walked across that stage, diploma in hand and the family grad picnic was Saturday so I was back at the gym this morning - I've got a little "me" time again!

I'm in for 1,800 minutes for July. Thanks, Julie! :woohoo:

So good to hear from you! I am finally back into exercising after my little foot incident in September.

I'll go for 600 minutes in July. That would be huge for me, but havng a goal helps, so that is my goal. Plus, I need to lose "some" weight.

Hello I was so glad that I found this.

I am a mother of 4 children 2 boys and 2 girls and I have been working out and changing my eating habits for this is my 88th day. My goal was to lose 90 pounds and I am at 47 pounds lost so far.

I would like to participate in this group and would like to commit to 1800 minutes for July.

I look forward to talking to everyone here :cool1::cool1::cool1:

I did 4.96 miles with Sashi, the Husky, this morning. Going to go to the gym & do weights soon.

What did you do?
 
When I posted around here I worked out 20+ hours a month (a lot for me with our schedule). In the last 2 months away, I've probably worked out 5 hours total! :sad2:

So I'm back. Traveling a lot this month (and I soooo don't work out when I'm away from home. I know.) so I'm going a bit lower. Count me in for 900 minutes, please, and we'll see...


This morning was off to a good start, though! Ballet Boot Camp + Spinning Intervals. 110/900
 
I'm in.
I am so out of shape. I basically haven't exercised since Thanksgiving. I had surgery in March.
I bought a pair of New Balance Rock and Tone shoes.
We're going to WDW at the end of October, so I need to get my butt in gear.

I'm going to do 620. That will be 20 minutes a day for each day in July.

I just got back from my 20 minute walk. Wow, did I feel it on the hills. It must be a combo of underused muscles and those shoes. I can't wait to see how much easier it will get for me as the month goes along.

I am also going to buy myself a new song for my ipod for every 2 miles I walk. Those fast tempo songs really help me.

Verrry slow start to the month for me 20/1000. Starting tomorrow I will be able to get back into a regular routine again, thank goodness :)

I am up to 675/1800 so far. Was a beautiful weekend here!!! Went on 3 long walks with the kiddos and was wonderful...I sure hope it continues ;) ;) ;)
 
I'm here too!!! I did no goal setting for June at all, but for some reason I really don't understand actually managed to lose a few pounds! I really need to keep the momentum going!

My goal for this month will be 1500 min. So far I am at 150/1500 this month. I haven't been going to my dance class since my hip surgery last Oct and and I really felt it when I went back the other day! Tells me I really need to step it up a bit! Guess I'd better go set up my chart to track my minutes! I do a lot better when I stay accountable.
 
I'll try this! It might be the motivation I need. Especially since after next week my walking partner will have a wacky schedule. There will go an hour a day! :scared1: So I am making up a number, 1000 minutes. That would normally be easy, but without her to make me walk, maybe not. So, for July I am at 254/1000.
 
Snuck in a 30-minute TRX Abdominals express class yesterday. I'm moving along quite, quite slowly! ;)

Whoa I need to get back on here!! We went to Disneyworld last month and had an awesome time. Did well on my eating there but it seems after we got back I stopped exercising and wanted to eat anything that sat still!! Pants are getting tight again and we have another big trip in 35 days :woohoo:

My weight goal is 10 pounds but my exercise goal will probabaly be 1000 minutes. My days are crazy w/ all the kids summer things but I've done well committing my evenings to my workout and hubby has been supportive!
