When do the kids in Florida go back to school? We have to change our vacation to mid August instead of late August. What are we looking at as far as crowds go? Can anyone help me with that one?

The kids in Florida go back to school around the 2nd week because we have been there in the middle of August before and crowds weren't too bad - except for weekends at the MK, that was a bear!

I would love to get a PIN for the 40% off deal. But I'm wondering if that would be a better deal than possible free dining.

We saved $1296 with the 40% off code at AKV Kidani. Free dining would save us $1090. We did book the quick service dining plan, I think that was around $850

I just booked rooms only for July. I have not gotten a pin, I have been on the website every day saving packages under 2 different emails but Nothing!! Disney Visa - nothing! I do have AAA so I at least got 10% off. I couldn't wait to book any longer!!! A little excitement for a Monday anyway....

I priced out and saved offers on Disney.com in hopes of getting a pin, and to see the difference between the quotes from the travel agent and disney, anyway, we got an email with a pin code, but the code was for travel this fall, not next July when we plan on visiting the world

Well I may try again, change the dates/resort/length of trip to see if it triggers another email pin.

I just tried again, deleted the previously saved offers and changed the length of stay and added a delux resort to the saved offer list, well see if that sufficiently confuses the computer into sending me another email

My first post....We are going again this August 2010 and I'm also waiting for some deals....We got the free dining plan last Aug plus a room upgrade to SSR. Also did a search and found that Disney has offered the free meal plans in Aug over the past 3 yrs.....Hope it continues.

I too remember it being extended twice. I know the second extension covered August. I booked our stay at GF the day it was released. I still have the confimation email. It is dated 2/9/09.

I think it was released in January last year. Dining came a few months later.

Codes for "free dining" last year came out some time end of February/beginning of March. We took this offer. Let know if there are any codes for July 2010

We are booked for the last week in July for 7 days at POR.....I am so stinkin mad right now because I KNOW we received the 20%, 30% and 40% pin code email about a month ago after I saved 4 trips on the Disney website...and I told my husband not to delete any emails from Disney. Well I remember seeing that email come through and all of this just jogged my memory....so I quickly went to our email inbox - NO EMAIL...went to trash - NO EMAIL....rrrrghhhh...oh well, fingers crossed for the 4/3 offer to be extended. We booked for last July last March and the offer was extended then so I am sure it will be again. With the state of the economy, I am sure Disney wants to offer the best deals for their customers (we will go even if we don't get an offer).

You should be able to contact Disney to see if the PIN code is attached to your name. It should be there if you receive the email.
