Hi, here is the link to the FE thread I have started. Saves people on this meet that are not participating have to scroll through messages that they don't want to. We will just use the FE thread to post re the FE list and carry on with this one with info regarding the cruise.

Great idea to have a separate thread!! I am one of those people not participating in FE, so it will be nice not to see all of those posts.

So...who else is super excited for July 8?? Anyone start making packing lists or start packing yet? I'm a last minute packer, but I have lots of preparation lists!

I could NEVER pack this early!! I would run out of things I needed to wear before the trip. lol.
I keep a packing list on my computer. I have added EVERYTHING I can think of to it including things I need to do around the house before leaving for a trip. I use this same list for every trip we take. I just print it off, cross off the things that do not apply to that trip (like jackets for a summer trip, ect) and then pack the things we will need. If I ever think of something new it gets added to my saved list for future packing help. Like CHAPSTICK. I can't live without it, yet used to always forget to pack it. Now I don't forget anymore.
The only thing I have added for this trip is I made a note book and a spot on one of my office shelf's for all things related to this trip. I put fabric markers, pillowcases and a picture frame there along with the FE gifts as I make them. In the notebook I have a few door decorations, sticky pad, sleeves to put stuff like our navigators or other scrapbook things to use and remember the trip with later so they come home unwrinkled, I plan to also put the pictures we buy on the ship in that notebook so I don't have to worry about them getting bent in luggage.
Anybody else have any good tips to share?

I am super super super excited I see you have already been on a disney cruise this year, WOW, lucky you. I can't wait for this one, counting down - we leave the UK 7 weeks today. We are staying at the port, on previous cruises we have stayed downtown disney and near the airport so thought it was time we tried the port. I have not started packing yet but do keep looking in my wardrobe to see what I will be taking

This will be our 3rd cruise in 11 months, because DH and I went on one last August on Freedom of the Seas. But this should be the last one for a while.

We're staying at the Hyatt MCO, but some day I'd like to stay right at Cocoa Beach by the port.

I read a packing thread on the main board and I was surprised how many people start packing months before. Since it's a summer cruise I will need most of the clothes I'll be packing, so no way I could back early. Next month I'll start setting aside things like door decorations and pirate costumes for the kids.

Hey we went on FOS last July I really enjoyed it but thought the boat was far too impersonal (kids had a great time though) so I am hoping that Dream will be more to my liking

This will be our 4th Disney Cruise! We are excited about seeing the Dream! My husband and I got married on the Disney Wonder in 2005 on Castaway Kay! My kids are: DS12, DS6, DD4.

Yes they opened the Military deals on this cruise, since we are down there, we said "we're in"!

I wondered about that. O-well. It is still nice to have him along even if he can't be loved on.
