$50 sounds cheap. Isn't it a 2 1/2 hour ride from Seattle to Vancouver?

2.5hrs is you driving direct with no stops, the bus is more like 5hrs. However with border crossings and a few stops along the way, it's still faster and more convenient than Amtrak. Oh should I mention the bus has wifi for you to plan out your cruise itinery or send pictures back home?

Interesting. I will consider them if it becomes necessary to fly in and out of Vancouver.

My husband and i just booked. This is our first cruise and first Disney Cruise. We are super excited. I'm already crafting a FE, and FE gifts. I just need to figure out how to join a FE group.

Hi everyone. We booked a private Anan Creek excursion with Carlin Air in Ketchikan. Initially, our friends were planning to cruise with us, so Carlin Air obtained 7 total permits for Anan on that day (7/11). Our friends have backed out, so there are 2-3 available seats (depending on weight) on our plane. If the 3rd seat is filled, they will give us a discount, since that person won't have a window. Cost would be $485 per person with 2 people or $416 per person with the 3rd seat filled. Anyone interested? Anan Creek will be our splurge on this trip. Pricey but worth it from what I've read (check tripadvisor for reviews). Let me know if anyone is interested, and I can get you more info. Gonna post over on the disboards as well. Can't wait till July!

My crazy mother is celebrating her 70th birthday with our family of four and my brother's family of four. We're going to have a ball! The cousins will be 10, 8, 7, and 5. I'm definitely interested in finding out more about FEs and FE gifts, and we're starting to plan our door magnets already. Alaska, here we come!

We will be joining all of you this summer! We've been on several cruises, but this will be our first Disney cruise. It will be me, DH, his parents and sister, and our daughters. DD1 is 2 and DD2 will be 7 months. We are so excited!

I am so excited. This will be our first Disney cruise. I been to an Alaska cruise before. My mom has been wanting to go to Alaska and since I have an 18 month old my excuse was disney is the way to go for baby. In reality I think I am the most excited to the point I am planing Disney inspiered outfits each night.

A little tip....for any cruisers planning to speed a week pre-cruise in Vancouver. Drop by the cruise terminal on July 1st evening (Wednesday). The cruise terminal is typically surrounded by fireworks. As a bonus the Olympic cauldron is also lit for photo's.

My husband and I finally booked this cruise. It will be our 3rd Disney Cruise! I found out last year that I have stage 4 lung cancer and wanted to do this trip while I am still able to. Never smoked so was quite a shock when I found out I not only have lung cancer, but it is stage 4! But I am keeping my spirits high and so looking forward to this trip. I too want to do the fish extenders this time. Looks like so much fun. Will be sign up on this link? Our kids are grown so it is just my hubby and me taking the trip!
