Yes, 2 blocks down. Directly across from the medical center with the memorial plaque under the window where penicillin was discovered. You may even find the plaque itself interesting considering it was one of the great medical discoveries in history.

Frontline Club faces the side street. I think it may just say Front Line on the front of the building (can't recall for certain). Really tall doors. My colleague had mentioned that he'd been trying to get in there for over a week or two. I had the concierge make a reservation for me around 3pm for two people. He got us a 7:30 pm seating. Nothing really fancy or spectacular, just a very nice english restaurant. It has a lot of interesting photography on the walls. I understand it's a club that champions independant journalism and a lot of journalists and photographers have contributed the art work.

Thanks again-love the wine list!

BTW, have not seen it mentioned, so I will have some sticky Name Tag labels and a pen so we can identify ourselves at our DIS Meets! :)

Great idea! I swear, one of these days I'm just going to make a lime green button, so when I lose my sticky tag, I still have something. :thumbsup2

Hi and welcome to our group!

The only kids area that charges is Flounders for the babies. The Club and Lab are included in your child's cruise fares.

I believe the Fish Extender list has been closed for some time now as folks have been shipping over their gifts already in some cases.

Where are you from?

I'm in the Air Force, station in Rota NS, Spain.

I am shipping my FE today or tomorrow, but have enough for 25 so I'm ok for you to be added...but it's not my list or should I say, I am not in charge.

Plus you are in the Air Force..:thumbsup2..can't turn a guy down in the Air Force!!!
(husband is retired AF and daughter talking about joining when we get back from the cruise) I'm sure my husband will want to talk to you. He was in Spain on a 30 day TDY once in Zaragoza.

Hi Richard,

Welcome to our group! :goodvibes Glad to have you with us-

I have been organizing the FE for the cruise.
We did close the list awhile back, so I'm not comfortable adding you as
"FE official". However- I am also bringing some extra items and would be happy to make a stop to your room. Others may feel the same way.
Would you please provide me with your room number.

I am passing out copies of the list at both the Dover restaurant meet on the 5th and the DIS meet on deck 7 on day 2- I will make a note on the list with your information.

Congrats on your great rate!

For those in the US there is a website that you can register with the State Department so they have a way to contact you if needed. I did this for the MED cruise and just finished for this cruise.
You got to their website
http://www.travel.state.gov

click on international travel and then registration with embassies on the left side. You provide contacts, your itinerary, passport number and other information. This way if the is a need the consulate will know how to get a hold of you. You can also give permission to them to release your information to relatives or friends who inquire about you. The State Department actively tries to find Americans during a disaster. The ones who registered with the embassy in the recent tsunami tragedy were more easily located.

Telephone number 317-472-2328 for family and friends to get information.

I guess I would rather be found then not found....:confused3

Hi - welcome to our group. Just wanted to say thank you for your service to our country!

Also have to add my oldest ds' name is also Bryce - he's 14
You aren't by any chance a Buffalo Bills fan or a Penn Stater are you? That's a round-a-bout way he got named, off course it didn't hurt that it's Welsh & dh's family is of that heritage

Has anyone seen anything about wine packages on the longer cruises? We find a bottle EVERY night is a little too much for the two of us (and we like to sample other cocktails on occasion as well:rolleyes1...) I think I saw something somewhere about smaller packages on the longer cruises - anyone know anything definitive?

Just have to say - I am starting to panic!!!!
I think I'll be better when we're out of school, which will mean I'll be done with work & I can really concentrate, but I feel like I have a million little things to do still!

whew - OK I'm better now:rotfl:
I know if I weren't on-line I'd get something done!

My kind of girl :yay:
I like wine at dinner & dh doesn't, last time we did a 7 day I think, but don't quote me since obviously I was drinking, that we got a lower # of bottles (like 5) & they just cork them & bring them the next night. This time though I think we're going to bring our own wine since I found out you can do that.

Welcome Aboard! So glad you're joining us!

I will also be bringing enough FE surprises to do your family, too. Please let us know your cabin number ASAP. :thumbsup2

Hi All!

While we're back on the subject of FE's, I thought I might mention that if you are participating in the FE Exchange AND you end up with a cabin change for any reason, please be sure to notify all the other FE participants. (Possible cabin changes could result from upgrading at the port, a cabin issue that causes you to have to switch cabins, etc.) I've found that the easiest way to notify everyone else is to pull out the list of FE Participants (the one that Joanne sent us) and call each cabin and leave a message. (The last time I had to do that, we had 18 families participating and it took less than five minutes to make all the calls.) Another option would be to leave a note in everyone else's FE.

Can't wait!!!! :)

I have enough for you as well. PM Joanne (goingsouth) and have her add you to the list with your cabin # so those of us with extras can drop a little something in your fish extender. It seems most of us are prepared with a few extras anyway. :)

How about proposing to share a package with your table mates?:grouphug:

CANT BELIEVE WE LEAVE IN 2 WEEKS!!!!!!:yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay:

1 1/2 weeks for us....leave the 26th

not ready....

:sad2:

Ok, I have new luggage we bought last year, from Land's End and it is a Vibrant Lime Green! LOL!

This was not picked because of the DIS's lime green color, but because it was on sale and that color had all the pieces left that I wanted, lol. So going to pickup some Scotchguard in the can tonite to try and spray it down. Though it will be easy to find on the luggage carousel, it might dirty easily, yikes.

Anyone ever sprayed their luggage before with Scotchguard?

I am working on FE gifts today ... so I will make so extra as well!

Feel like I made some progress yesterday .... DS is packed and ready to go, working on DD today ... got clothes laid out just need to minimize .... then my clothes on Monday .... DH is on his own!

Hopefully will finish FE gifts today and Door Signs tomorrow!! Then it's misc. stuff for the next 2 weeks!

Whew!!! Can't wait to get on the Magic ... so I can RELAX!!!
