Is it just a family of 3 crazy :hyper: enough to book for 2008 or is anyone else on the same boat:sail:

I can't wait until we are in that boat! :) This cruise is just the husband and I - we'll be celebrating our 5th anniversary on Puerto Vallarta day so the kids get to stay with Grandma

Glad to see there will be some others with us! We are a family of 4 and our kids will be a 7 year old girl and a 2 year old boy at the time of our cruise. We also have another family coming with us. Their kids will be a 10 year old girl and a 7 year old boy. I can't wait!

We'll be on board! There'll be four of us - DH and I along with our son (who'll be 15) and our daughter (who'll be 12.) Hi everyone!

We are a family of 3 me, DH and my DS who will be (8).

I have never been to California before so I am very excited:banana:

Anyone else impatient already? I'm extra excited since lovely DH decided to get us a cat 7 when I'd planned on a cat 8 or 9 due to price (he knew I'd miss not having a verandah  ) I just can't wait until we find out what excursions are available!

Hey, our tickers just went from 17 months down to 16 months, 4 weeks. At least that's an improvement! :lmao:

I'm a little impatient too. And I admit to looking at other cruise line sites to get a peek at what kind of excursions might be available to us in those 16 months, 4 weeks! Honestly, though, I'm looking particularly forward to those two sea days in a row. I love the relaxed feel of sea days! Boy, I wish there was a smilie in a lounge chair!

No. California family booked a Cat 11 Room on Deck 6. Just 3 of us girls going:dance3:.

:tinker: Daughter is looking forward to meeting other 12-year olds!

10/2006 - DL :goofy:
9/2005 - DL :eeyore:

5/2005 - DL :stitch2:
10/2004 - WDW :smickey:
Before 2004 - ????? :earseek:

Hi Mespino! :) Is your daughter 12 now or will she be 12 for the cruise? Mine would be THRILLED to learn of another (then) 12 year old girl on the cruise. By the way, we're also from NorCal, more specifically the bay area.

And hello to everyone else too! Another week is gone from the counters!:woohoo:

She will be 12 at the time of the cruise, just having completed 6th grade. We are from Sacramento and this will be our first cruise ever. I was unable to do a private message to you since I am a newbie to the disscussion board, but I have added you to my buddy list.

I located the excursions from the last trip to the West coast and already know the dolphin swim and horseback riding our high on our list. Also want to try the zip line but everything depends on cost and time. This is way better than the trip to Yellowstone I was planning!

Hello! I'm very excited to be joining you guys on this cruise! My husband and I sailed the Disney Wonder as part of a Land-and-Sean vacation for our honeymoon, and we can't wait to be sailing a Disney ship again! It is sooo worth the extra money, and of course we have more than a year to save up! My current countdown clock is set for our June Alaska cruise, so when I switch it over to this cruise, there will only be about a year left. Can't wait! :)

Hi everyone! We'll be on this cruise -- just switched our 2007 Med booking to this one. It'll be me, DH and 2 DD's (14 & 11 when we sail). We're in 2 connecting cat 10's on deck 2. This will be our 4th DCL cruise. I've never planned a vacation this far out before -- I'm usually a last minute type of person! Looking forward to getting to "know" all of you!

We're really looking forward to this cruise -- we love DCL! Instead of going to the Med this summer as originally planned, we're doing a Celebrity cruise to Alaska, and we're all afraid that we'll be spending the whole week comparing it to Disney!

Kris -- we were on the same cruise as you last August! We never made it to any of the Dis meets, but we had an absolutely fantastic time!

Hey Gina, how funny that we were on the same cruise! We only went to the first DIS meet and that was it. We tend to be a little shy and we were in big need of family time. The DIS meet was great for my kids, especially DS, to hook up with some new friends. I've still got my fingers crossed that some older boys will be on this cruise too! My son had a GREAT time thanks to all the kids his age on the last cruise.

Have a great day everyone!:goodvibes
