July 5th - 3 night- any kids going

We are going on our first cruise on July 5th. My DDs 9 & 6 would like to get to know some of the other kids that will be on board before we go.

Any kids going on that cruise???

We are going with 2 other families. One of them has an 11 year old DD and the old family has an 11 year old DS.

We are also going on the 3 night cruise. It will be myself, my DH and DD age 6. This is our 3rd Disney cruise. Our DD is so excited.

abmblb- does your DD usually do the kids club? Mine DD6 says she just wants to stay with mom and dad the whole trip. DD9 says "C'Ya!!" . I thought that maybe after she tried it she would like it. We'll see. I'm not going to force her to leave us.

Our DD was so excited when I told her about another 6 year old girl going to be on the ship. We have done the Disney cruise 3 years in a roll because she loves everything about them as well as us. The kids clubs seem to be really safe however we haven't left her because to us family vacation is families enjoying being together. There are so many family activities that we all enjoy such as helping them be jr. chefs, making flubber,face painting to decorating a family pillowcase. My daughter and I have done the science experiments over and over once we got home. I'm sure your DD will love the clubs because there is so much to do and tons of characters visit the clubs but not only that there is so much to do all over the ship. On our first cruise I did not want to go. I thought I would hate a cruise but my DH talked me into it because he thought our daughter would love it. Well, He was right she loved it but so did I. Our first week home I just kept thinking, I want to go back. You and your kids truly are treated like royalty and the staff are so genuine, like they really love their job. For Example, last year we went on the 7 night Western cruise and one of the counselors was working their just for the summer. She had a Masters in Education and was going back to Canada to start teaching. Every year we ask our DD where she wants to go on vacation and she always says "Disney Cruise" I could go on and on about how wonderful the ships are but once your family experiences it for themselves they will never go back!
