Hi! My name's Mary and my DH (Mark) and I are also on this cruise. Love your signature art. Do you mind if I use it?

Good morning everyone! So who here is a planner? I sure am. I get a lot of joy of researching and dreaming about our vacations. With Alaska being a brand new thing for us I'm really looking forward to learning about what there is to do and see at each of the ports.
me me mei love to plan ahead but have plenty of time to research this one. already check out books from the library for each place. need to research more on flights but waiting till i can be closer to the time frame to book. will book our timeshare in jan or feb let the fun begin

I love to plan! I went on a cruise to Alaska years ago, so I am trying to recall the best of each port. I am looking forward to finding out what excursions will be offered. Our fave from last time was a salmon bake in Ketchikan with gold panning . I was not brave enough for the glacier helicopter tour!
ok some questions to throw out here....
What is everyones most wanted port to see? What are you looking forward to the most for this trip?
Good morning everyone!
Glad to see I'm not the only planner in the group! Where do you have a timeshare? I picked up the book "Alaska by Cruise Ship". I've only taken quick looks at.
I don't think I've picked a most wanted yet. I'm excited just to see the Wonder sail in brand new waters. Having never been to Vancouver or any of the Alaskan ports I'm looking forward to it all! What are you looking forward to?
We can't wait to see what kind of excursions Disney will be offering. This will be our first time to Alaska so we will want to see EVERYTHING!!!!!
us too for both..my TA said she would be giving me a list of information for excursions by the independent companies as well when she gets them so if we want to book on our own we can. can't wait. i am pretty much at a stand still myself for planning anything more till we can price airline and book that kind of stuff. dh is wishy washy about where we will fly into. the saver in me says fly into seattle or bellingham but the make it easy side of me says just fly into vancouver and call it quits.i am hoping to research the ports for now and see what there is to see and maybe get a list of things we can do that my dd will be able to enjoy as well.
We are thinking about flying into Seattle on Saturday or Sunday then taking the train into Vancouver on Monday. We have never been to Seattle and I have never been on a train. Thankfully we have 641 days to figure it out!
