I'll be at Disney for a quick 2 day trip July 3rd and 4th. I'll be landing at 8:30 in the morning on the 3rd. I want to end the day at MK for the fireworks but I don't have anything I really want to do during the day. Do they usually reach capacity on this holiday? Would I be playing with fire not going there fairly early? I was thinking about checking out some of the resorts I've never been to.

On July 4th I'm going to spend all day in the WS. I'm thinking about doing RD at AK that morning to ride FOP again. If I do WS starting in Canada and try to watch the fireworks from Mexico would I still get stuck in the masses leaving? I have a 6:30 am flight home and do not want to be waiting for a bus until 11.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Opinions?

If you are staying onsite you are allowed in the park regardless.

I think you will be fine on the third. Keep in mind if you want a decent view you will need to get to MK way early for the fireworks.

For Epcot think about leaving a little bit before the fireworks ends. Also, you can get a better location to watch it right at the beginning of WS. You don't have to go into a country to see Illuminations.
