July 4th in Vero

Has anyone been to Vero for July 4th? We are going and I was curious if there was fireworks in the area or does the hotel do anything special? We check in on July 4th so I'm hoping for something nice!!

We've been there a couple of times on the 4th. You have to go to the city park I think for fireworks. At the resort they had lots going on around the pool during the day. DJ/music/ lots of kids games/watermelon eating/seed spitting etc. We ate at the restaurant and they had an all American meal- with a special 4th of July Dessert. We were able to see some fireworks from the resort but they were quite a way away. I know there were celebrations somewhere in the area though.
