Anyone else getting a bit crazy that the 4th events schedule is not out yet?

definitely and very upset that SpectroMagic was on the list - but Wishes was NOT!!!!

It was out a couple of days ago - but you could tell it was not complete.

Thank you...I did see this...This list does not list anything about the special fireworks...In fact, none of the park schedules do...That is what is upsetting me...But thank you!

I've read that wishes does a special 4th of july show on the 3rd and 4th- so maybe that's what they list for 4th of July Fireworks- but there's nothing for the 3rd- no wishes at all. That worries me because our plan was originally to go to MK on the 3rd. Oh well- maybe it will be updated later.

This is our 2nd year going at this time. We LOVED being there for the 4th last year! We did TGM, rope drops and had NO problem staying ahead of the crowds.

As far as the special fireworks for the 3rd go.... I remember not seeing anything about them until right before we left for our trip last year. So I'm hoping it's the same this year.

Thought I would also add that for the 4th we were at DHS last year. We enjoyed the fireworks but they were nothing compared to the night before at MK.

This year our plan is to do MK on the 3rd and Ecpot on the 4th since we can just walk back. We're going to do AK during the morning. And then the Hoop Dedoo Review at 5pm. I thought getting out of the parks while they're super crowded would be a good idea. Then we'll head over to Epcot after Hoop. If we can't get in... we'll just watch from outside.

Also considering going over to Boardwalk for the evening of the 4th. Since we've never been there in the evening I'm not sure if you can see any of the fireworks. Does anyone know? I know they have lots of activities going on which my kids would love!!

You can see the fireworks from the bridge between Epcot and the Boardwalk...But it is difficult to see the lower/water features parts of the show and it is very difficult to hear the music...You see it but do not get the full effect.

Sorry I haven't updated in a while. Been dealing with my Mom's health issues plus baseball season has started for DS12 while finishing up his spring soccer season.

Things are really starting to heat up now that the July park hours have been released. Planning is in full force. I hope everyone has seen all the pictures starting to circulate for Kidani Village. There are numerous threads on the DIS boards, as well as reviews on AllEars. We are really getting excited to get there and see it in person.

Someone had a picture of the BBQ grill area. I believe that is also where the basketball/tennis courts are located. This looked like a great area for a possible DIS meet while we are all there. Would love to hear any suggestions from anyone who is interested in getting together to say hello and put a face with the name.

Okay, I think I am caught up for now. So is everyone open to meeting at the Recreation/BBQ area? If so, how many like the 3rd better, and how many like the 4th? I know plans are varied during this time. Currently we plan to eat at Kona Cafe on the 3rd and watch the special fireworks from Poly Beach (if they do happen) and we had planned a slow day on the 4th and then head to DHS for the fireworks there (if they do happen). If DHS doesn't do the special fireworks on the 4th, we may just not do a park that day.

It would be really cool if we could pull it off where we were to meet and everyone bring stuff to grill one of those days and make it a 4th of July party. I am game if enough are interested.

We are planning a much quieter trip this time around and will be out by the Kidani pool most afternoons. I am going to try and make a simple flag of some sort with possibly a lime green Mickey head on it with our user name to put up at the pool near our chairs. If I get it done, I will post a pic on here so everyone knows what to look for. Even if we can't pull off a big meet with everyone, if you see the flag when you're out at the pool, make sure to stop by and say hello!

I am so jealous. Why didn't we think about this last year? For what it is worth, I heard on a podcast (sorry do not remember which one) that they will not be doing the Studio's fireworks. Sounds like you all will be having a great time either way.

Marv, we still have our ADR at Kona on the evening of the 3rd with intentions to watch the special fireworks afterward. (Maybe what makes them special is that they're invisible and silent....yeah, that's it. And then we can go on a snipe hunt afterward.) We have a late lunch ADR on the 4th, but could maybe do something around dinnertime. I imagine a lot of people have big plans and ADRs on the 4th though. I know we'll catch you at the pool, if nothing else.

I'm really getting psyched for this trip!
