July 4 fireworks help

ok, I know MK is going to be a packedhouse on July 4 - what restaurants non MK can we see the fireworks at either MK or Epcot from on that evening. We don't really celebrate July 4 being Canadian and July 1 is our day, but would hate to miss the July 4 celebration since we will be there anyway..... I can make my PS tomorrow, so your quick responses would be appreciated.


another question - is there anywhere on DIS I can go to just look at threads I have posted to instead of going through all of them, they get lost so easy.

I can't help you with what restaurant, but perhaps I can be of some help. I had the pleasure of catching the Fourth of July fireworks in the MK last year, and... It was the old Fantasy in the Sky July 4th show, which might be replaced this year with a special version of Wishes. But either way, you are going to get a fireworks show like none other. They really pull out all the stops this night. Hopefully that will be enough to get you excited about it! :thewave:

Yes. You can set it up so that the threads you subscribe to the posts you reply to and start automatically. Then you just go to your User CP to view them. For more help, go to the technical board.

I know you can see the fireworks from Ohana in the Polynesian and Narcooses at the Grand FLoridian. You could probably eat at the other restaurants in these hotels and then go down to the beach at the Poly or the boat dock at GF and see the fireworks from there. I'm pretty sure you would be able to see them from Ft. Wilderness also so you could have dinner at the Trails End and then walk down to the Ft. Wilderness beach.

i know narcoosee's has a great deal. if u eat there that evening all u have to do is show ur reciept and they'll let u in for fireworks bc u were a customer of thiers for the nite. for example if you eat at 6 and finish your meal at 730 you can walk around the hotel( may i suggest the main lobby for a goodtime) then head back to narcoosee's about 8:45ish to be on the patio area for 9pm fireworks.
