July 30, 2010 Mickey's Adventures England to Espana Cruise

Hi Lisa

About FE exchange, we are from Scotland and we went to Panama Canal and lot of disboards people were there and I got lots of FE exchange and managed to spilt it with 4 luggages... Phew...

Have you cruise with Royal Caribbean before? Let me know how you get on with it?

As I booked Freedom of the Seas for my special birthday and will be sailing at Port Caneveral...in April 2011... never been cruising with this apart from Disney...

I love Disney cruise but want something different and I hope I don't regard it...

I have been in New York for my 40th with my husband and love it...

It will be my 2nd visit to New York:thumbsup2

No I have not cruised RCCL before, not sure if we are off to a good start. It is a really cheap 3 day cruise and I booked at GTY cabin and I know you take a chance but I got the end cabin on the bottom deck. The cruise is empty so far and the price keeps dropping so you think they would try and impress new customers, so we will see how it goes. I am looking foward to sailing from Miami and also trying a different cruise line.

I am sure you will like the Freedom, it looks like a beautiful ship. I actually just cancelled a cruise I had booked on the Freedom for next spring break, I think I will wait till the girls are a little older, I think my youngest will be too short for the flowrider and that could cause some problems.

What dates are you coming to New York? If it is later in November, some of the Christmas decorations will be up, and I think the holiday season is the best time of the year here -- really magical. However, the shopping will be good all month, and if you want to see some Broadway shows, availability and prices will be better earlier in the month, so you can't lose.

Hi Julie

I know your signature names as you were cruising after me at Med 07... I often talking to Andrew and Helen from UK..

Anyway, 5 ladies and I are going to New York on 24 November for 5 nights and we booked two different hotel....first hotel Hyatt near Central STation, then after thanksgiving we move to Hudson Hyatt hotel...(long story why)...

Anyway, we are meeting up on end of June at Perth to discuss about booking the restaurant after the Parade... I have listed but I give it to my friend...

Also discuss about Broadway as my friend want see Mamma Mia... Do you know what the best times we order tickets from?

I do appreciate if you help me?

PS.. I heard black Friday oh dear we have to decide what to do with it maybe visit museum or something to keep away from shopping?

Hi Lisa

What is your two girls name? and I see that your two girls aged 6 and 8 so will be 7 and 9 next year?

My daughter is 9 and will be 10 in October, she is profoundly deaf and wear the cochlear implant... she is copyng well in mainstream school...

Anyway, I think this cruise is so prefect for your girls then next cruise RCCI when they get older :thumbsup2

We had been Disney Cruise 3 times and will be 4th and we love it so much and I am worry what if I dislike RCCI but I think we give a try as my kids will be 14 and 11 in 2011...

I do want carry on with Disney cruise but I think it start more expensive nowaday which is a great shame....

At Med 07 at Rome there were RCCI ship behind us and when I looked outside of both ship and my heart was Disney.... I forgot which ship I have photo and I will look at it ...

As it is a huge ship RCCI and Disney ship look much nicer oh well

Keep an eye on

for tickets. If you register as a member, you can get access to lots of discounts. HOWEVER, coming around Thanksgiving has its pluses and minuses. It is a very busy time and discounts might be hard to find -- but the Macy's t'giving parade is fabulous (we go every year!) and things will be (mostly) decorated for Christmas by then. The big exceptions are the Rockefeller Center tree, the tree at Lincoln Center, and all the trees down the middle of Park Avenue, which start being lit the first week in December.

As for Black Friday, I don't find it that terrible. I have been taking my girls to see Santa at Santaland (highly recommended -- not just a visit with Santa but an immersion into the entire world of Santa's workshop!) the Friday morning after t'giving since they were tiny, and it is crowded but nothing awful.

I would buy tickets directly from the theater website (all this information can be found at playbill.com) early to get tickets to what you want at this busy time of the year. Also think about the Radio City Christmas Spectacular (tickets are already on sale at radiocity.com) since it is really unique. For anything you do on line, just select "will call" and then you can pick up the tickets at the venue before the show with ID.

I am happy to help you out as much as I can. I'm not good at hotels, since I live here and never have to use them, but anything else I can probably help you out.

Danny was great, but I have to say I am a tremendous Adam fan! I won't tell who wins if you don't want to know!

You will have such a fun day! Hopefully the heavier rain will hold off until the overnight hours between Saturday and Sunday.

We are crazy busy as we head toward the end of the school year (less than a month now) . . . and a month from tonight I will be on a flight with my oldest daugher to the UK to look at colleges:sad2::sad2::sad2:

Well, everyone says that (and my personal opinion is that Adam was in a different league from everyone else this year) but then they said that only one million votes (out of 88) separated the top two vote getters -- so there is really no telling what will happen.

just in case , we're still going...but life has been hectic for us.

...you think...we start..slowing down, [ we're not college kids
no more....:rolleyes1, but things..jus seem to happen. oh,
