I sure wish spring would arrive to Northeast, Florida. Today it is 60 degrees with the wind gusting to 25 mph. We are under a Red Flag warning for wildfires. It is suppose to be 33 degrees in the morning.

I am ready for warm temperatures and a dip in a warm ocean:cool1:

I think this was our temperature today here in Bucks County, PA.:confused3

Bump. We have been a quiet crowd here today also.

It seems as if all the talk right now is on the repo of the Wonder in 2011 thru the Panama Canal.

Yes look like as everyone are talking about Wonder 2011 but they forgot about new ship too lol

I would tempt to go back again in 2011 but not now as I have told in law about it but they cannot go to florida because of too long flight which is no good for father in law...

Also I got request for in law for this cruise but it still expensive for them... shame that they enjoyed Med 07 and would like to go with us... I told them I keep eye on it to see if any bargain next year (I don't think so) but never know...

On the weekend we got onto the subject of Europe which lead me to pulling out the pictures from my summer spent backpacking accross Europe in 1987. I forgot how beautiful Spain and Portgual is and I think this will be a great cruise. It will be nice when the excursions come out, but that will probably not be for awhile yet.

I was surprised how interested my oldest daughter was in all the pictures of the cathedrals and castle, so I take that as a good sign.

I read on a thread somewhere that some people are planning on flying into Paris and then taking the ferry/train to Dover as the wanted to go to DLP, that would be nice to do if I can get the extra time off, but I think it will be a short trip, never enough vacation time.

Spain is such a beautiful country. I was born in Sevilla, Spain and have had the opportunity to visit only once as an adult. We are looking forward to visiting the area in 2010. How cool that you had the opportunity to backpack across Europe. My husband and I have done some backpacking, but it has been in the Western United States and Alaska. Those trips were a lot different than staying on the Magic:rotfl2: We would also like to see the selection of excursions to start formulating a plan. I do not believe Paris is on our agenda, but extra days in London and Barcelona are....

Changing the subject....My husband is from Michigan and he enjoys vacationing in Canada to fish for the great Wall-eye and Pike. We have traveled many times by float plane to remote cabins to fish...What a beautiful backcountry you have:)

Hi

I have been in Spain quite lot but not on this cruise to different port so that mean I have not been any port on this cruise as never been Libson too so I am looking forward to...

Also my brother in law moved to Canada last Jan and he got the job and rent the apartment in Owatto... Tornoto... so my husband told me that he want to go to Canada in 2011, trouble that I want go to Australia with my family but we wait and see now as another thing that Wonder 2011 too which I quite fancy go back on that ship to Panama again lol..;).decide decide help....

Also my kids love Disney Cruise and they are happy that we changed over from Baltic as they prefer Spain:confused3

Yes Canada does have some beautiful countryside, especially the Rocky Mountains, Great Lake areas, the east and west coasts.

I can't quite imagine backpacking through Europe with young kids, so I think the Magic will be a better match for the kids.

I have not spent any time in Lisbon, so I will need to find some good guide books. Most of the guide books I have found seem to focus on the Med, has anyone found a good guide book they would recommend?
