I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas........what is everyone doing for New Years?

Hi everyone! We are seriously thinking about booking this cruise. Dover is only a few hours from where we live, and knowing the "Magic" is that close to our home without us on it is an unbearable thought. Plus the ports are great! and Barcelona is an absolutely wonderful city!!!
We do a 7 night western Carribean Cruise next year (2009), and are planning to book then: It seems there is a serious "onboard booking" advantage. We leave for the USA july 20th., and the cruise leaves the 25 th.
So, i'll keep on reading this thread, and will let you all know when we booked!

Welcome and DO join us! Actually, I'll be getting off the ship when you get on this summer..........we're doing the Tortola starting on July 18th.

where have the time went too, ..i think i could use....

christmas..Q 2 years. [ to get ready].


,,,i've been busy . but in 'teen this holiday....we came across a
family living in a barn..with 5 kids. from our connections, they
had the best christmas ever.

now, don't think...i'm telling the good sam stuff. quite contary,
..they gave us alot more then what we gave them. i 've never
seen such a happy family! ,{one of my disney hobbies..is to
gather signatures/pictures & cruise stuff to share with those
in our community...who can't afford. [ another family we gave
one of those...photo mats.] i try to take pictures of the characters
..to "blow up". and of course, "wrapping"..presents..in our old dcl/
disney bags. you think..it was better than sliced bread! }

*sliced bread..for all you youngsters..., my parents used to tell when
they..sneaked to the local store..after dark, tooo buy...sliced bread.

ha! it was a disgrace..to be caught buying sliced bread...otherwised.

..it was also neat..watching the kids..played with toys...that
delighted ~ ..our kids.( not so long ago, really ) one lil'girl
.."found"..my daughter's princess sleeping bag...she crawled all over us,




...my buddy that helped, ..i told the kids...he t'was...grumpy's...older
brother. now if..you happened to kno him...you would have no problem
"belivin'~~~jus like the kids. ( afterall, isn't it the "thought"
that counts? )

amazing..how fast..the kids...found the toys~ but it few minutes..
..i had looked over...there they were playing with the pots & pans.

...you couldn't find more happiness...if you was staying in the
castle...during wishes.

if you're from the pc site..then you kno..i used to run the soap
box derby. during those years, the local theaters gave me
their movie posters. we still had some [ tons] left, so i gave
the kids..some disney ones..to decorate their rooms. [ teacher
pet, incredibles, toy storys, nemo & such...] . the lil'boy
had to show me his room.

last christmas..we spent it @ wdw. this was better.

I also enjoyed the Disney Med Cruise in 2007. I am a native Floridian and have visited the World many times. I am looking forward to particiapting on the boards and learning about travel tips before the big trip across the pond in 2010.

Which Med cruise were you on in 2007? We took the 6/26 cruise or was it 27 either way it was a 10 day & very busy!

I rebooked it when I was onboard a week or so ago and got 10% off and the OBC . . . the price hadn't gone up, either, so it was a real savings! That was pretty exciting . . .

Yep, did it as a new booking and then had my TA cancel the old one and transfer my cabin to the new booking, so I am even still in my same cabin! It was terrific!
