July 30, 2010 Mickey's Adventures England to Espana Cruise

My son and I are also on the cruise!! I am especially looking forward to Lisbon as my family is from Portugal and my grandmother was always going to take me there when I finished College. Sadly she passed away before but she will be with me in spirit!!!

My TA got us a cabin on Deck 6 in the middle. We have always done Navigator in the past but my son will be 16 and I probably don't have to worry about him falling off the balcony!!!

Looking forward to chatting and planning with you all over the next year and 9 months!!

We're on this cruise also!
We were able to switch our dummy date that we booked when we were on the Mexican Riviara cruise this summer with no problems. Got our room assignment and everything.

We're very excited about this trip, we are planning on a few days prior to the trip in England or Belguim.

July 2010 seems like a lifetime away. But we look forward to getting to know all of our fellow cruisers in the next 21 1/2 months!

Hi everyone.......I have tentatively booked this trip and the previous Northern European trip.......my excuse? My DH and I will be married 30 years on July 11th, 2010.........I've included my 3 DDs for the July 18th but for this trip, it will just be my DH & I....

So excited to meet all of you but I do already know Lynn & Keith (we met on the West Coast 2005 Mexican trip and we've also reunited in NYC in 2006, in the Med in 2007 and in London this past Spring 2008) Also, we know Julie from sailing with her in 2007 in the Med.

The idea of sailing around Portugal and Spain is so cool, this should be an amazing trip!!!

we're so excited! I'm off to Barnes & Noble to get some books on London and Paris. all the talk about Paris on this thread got me thinking about adding a few days there also....

Quickly post to say I came so close to doing this one, I instructed my TA on Back to back cruises with this being the 2nd one and had two On board bookings to be converted to Cat 3s on both.

But we decided to go for the Baltic only ( at this time) due to my Mrs holiday rules at her work saying she cannot take more than two weeks at peak holiday season, and we have done that many times before.

Anyway I will not say 'never' there is a chance, but I would leave that to closer to the time.

I had been calling this cruise the phantom cruise for some time, I knew there was one post Baltic and going down the West coast of France just didn't know all the ports. Got Lisbon and Gibraltar right and of course Barcelona.

Fingers crossed that Susan can get the time off and you could stay on for this one, Andrew! It doesn't seem to be extremely popular, so you would probably be able to get on closer to time . . .

Well, here was my thinking: book all three and try to get the best first-day pricing . . . then if things aren't good enough financially to do the third, I have until spring of 2010 to cancel and get the deposit back . . . I am trying to keep less emotionally invested in the third until I am sure I can swing it!

We are happy to join you all on the 8-day cruise --- and very much looking forward to it. We debated between this cruise and the Baltic, but decided to spend the extra days in London and somewhere else in Europe.... This is our 7th Disney cruise -- the most recent being the Med in 2007 and the Mexican Riveria this past summer. We are a Cat. 4 on the 8th deck.
