July 3 fireworks

No parks for us on July 3 or 4th, but we would love to see the fireworks (probably on the 3rd). Thinking of having dinner at Ohana and watching from Poly or dinner at Trail's End and watching from Ft. Wilderness. Is one of these a better choice than the other?

I would pick 'Ohana, but you may already be too late to get an ADR for either one.

Booked "Ohana" for 8:30-

Can you actually watch from the restaurant? I was thinking i'd have to make a reservation for 7-7:30 and then head out to the beach after.

We did a private fireworks cruise on July 3rd of 2013 out of the Contemporary. It was phenomenal!!! It was expensive, but worth every penny. On the 4th, we had dinner reservations at the Grand Floridian Cafe and then stayed and watched the fireworks from the boat dock. It was the same show from the 3rd, but a lot less crowded than the parks. FYI If you don't have dinner ressies at one of the MK resorts where the fireworks can be viewed, the guards will not let you in. We spent both days swimming at our resort (AoA) and had a character breakfast at Chef Mickeys. It sure beat the craziness at the parks...

Yes, you can--- depending on where you are seated---- they also have the music piped in ! It's a great atmosphere !
Btw, just made our ADR last night, so I would give it a shot

Just checked--- not sure of your party size, but an 8:20pm ADR at Ohana available for July 3rd
