July 3-9...BEST RATE AVAILABLE???

It just came up that we can go to Disney from July 3-9...What is the best rate you have gotten for this time period? I have an annual pass and am a FL Resident. Thanks.

I would check out the swan or dolphin since they provide annual passholders discounts!! Good luck we will be at the dolphin for the fourth

i'm pretty sure the AP rate only begins on july 5 (not 4th of july weekend)...

The AAA discount during the 4th of July weekend is pretty good. Also if you work for an airlines there is some great deals. You may try staying off property until the 5th and then getting the AP rates.

According to Mousesavers, AP and FL res rates are the same for check-ins on July 3rd. I'd call and see if either one is available for the hotel(s) of your choice

You might want to check out the Deluxes during this time period. It is value price time for them versus peak period time for the value and moderate resorts.

I just called yesterday and got a woods view reservation at WL for mid July at $134 a night.

Because of this wonderful site and all the help we will now be staying at a Deluxe resort for cheaper than what we were originally going to pay for a moderate.

I think staying in two places might work best if you can't get in a deluxe on the AP/FL rate for the whole trip. I wouldn't stay off site during such a busy time, especially if you want to go to a park on July 4th. If you stay onsite (including Swan/Dolphin) the hotel will transfer your luggage for you. MK often closes on July 4th to off site guests. Of the places weluvpluto listed, I would choose WL or Contemp; the latter would be a cool place to watch July 4th fireworks. I'd call ASAP if you want to get that rate.
