July 28, 2007 - Romeancing the Mouse in the Med Cruise Reunion thread!

Here is Garry wearing his shirt with our logo for the upcoming cruise. Of course he could not resist getting out his Pirate hat! I think he is really ready to cruise!

I'm a little jealous about the November logo! It's so soon! Have a blast!:goodvibes

I am wait-listed for a CAT 3 on the 7/18 cruise, cross referred to an on board booking made on the REPO, this is first choice, for me, but I will not post on the 7/18 thread until *booked* Superstition.

I have dropped the 7/30 Europe repo plans.

party: :dancer: :jumping1:

OK - once you do get confirmation, make sure you :teleport: yourself over to the thread and post. I normally don't, but I couldn't help myself, I've been a bit depressed not knowing what we were going to do but now with so many "maybe" on board, however, I am still not putting any logo - OMG - who's going to make the logo????:scared1: See - I'm scaring myself - anyway, we shall see who pops up on Tuesday or Wednesday!!!!

Cat 3!!!! That would be wonderful -- are you still doing your Cat 3 cruise next summer? Why did you choose to drop the 8 day repo? Believe it or not, I am going to book the 7/18, 7/30, and 8/7 cruises -- all three -- knowing that I could drop the last one or two closer to time if I decide it is just too much money. I'm not going for a concierge suite, though!

I am like you, I never post on a thread until I am booked -- my first post on our PC cruise was once I heard from my TA.

Julie if you go one trip early, you can have a friend oh....maybe like me with you for about 24 days! :rotfl2: - oh wait - you want to do the repo - ah heck - just book a fourth cruise - I would if I could but I'm pushing the budget now. I was playing around with airfare for 5 last night - I know airlines only go out about 1 yr but a RT nonstop runs (now) about $1500 from LAX to London Heathrow. So for about $7200 I can get my family over there. If my MIL comes, add another $1500 to that. It does get expensive.

But you can never put a price on friendship! :thumbsup2 :tink:

no way I can book four! We can be together on the July 18, though . . .

My oldest could definitely make our logo (Miami AD school finishing up this quarter..............) Guess what? I never told my kids about this! I'll have to tell her and get her over on our thread with some logo ideas!!!:cool1:

ok
I've chatted through pros and cons with Keith and although the Baltic sounds wonderful, he would actually prefer the med, we love the idea of Tunis and Corsica Valletta we have visited but it will be great fun to go back on the Magic, it means no school issues, as much as we'd like to sail with you all again I think we'll wait for the Baltic until the new ships come out and the Magic or Wonder come to Europe more often!!!!!
So final decision is to book the repo and the following med.
Julie I guess you have to put up with us again!!!but the rest of you are safe!
Helen come back to the med with us:thumbsup2

Oh
I forgot if any of you are planning on spending any time in the UK before your cruise we'd definitely be up for a meet in London or on the South Coast.

Andrew, it is nice to "see" you again! Glad that 7/18 works out for you! Won't it be great if we can have another exciting time like we had on the Mediterranean Cruise. Think of all the chatting we can do between now and July, 2010!:surfweb:

I am on the 8/15/2009 Tortola Eastern cruise and have a Cat 3 on that one, I am currently planning to go on the 7/18 Baltic, and have a Suite request in for that one, but no calls as yet.

I am looking for a Cat 3, but would settle for a Cat 4 if I had to, My request to Inventory control has been in for some time.

I did originally ask for back to back with the 7/30 8 night Europe repo, I have now dropped that. I like the idea of driving to/from Dover and not have to use transfers instead one to Dover and one back form Barcelona. I did want to go to Gibraltar, but the other 7/30 ports were not on my 'must do' list.

in 2009 I am also going to Venice, on the air-miles I have from BA, All I had to pay for was the Hotel and have one 'in' the center of Marks Sq.

Lynn, Keith...........we have waitlisted for the July 18th, 2010 NE with the girls...... and Ken & I only for the REPO....we'll see.............either way, I plan to visit you two so..............BRACE YOURSELVES................:goodvibes

Oh, we'll miss you Lynn. Maybe this will make Helen feel a little better. Tom & I are trying to visit places we've never been and then go back to the places we really liked. The Baltic lets us sample so many new places. Plus Tom's maternal grandfather was from Sweden and he's always wanted to visit there. The new stops on the Med sound wonderful, too. I'm thinking that Disney will leave one of the new ships in Europe and they will probably alternate all of these European cruises. We definately want to do the Med again, too.

Harole Ann,

You got a pirate: and you didn't even realize it. :lmao: :lmao: This one's for Garry. He looks wonderful in his pirate hat!!!!

Well, let's hear from MJ, and the other friends from the Med............where's everyone?:goodvibes

Lynn, you and Keith are an asset to any cruise! Let's just hope I am able to swing all three . . .

It will not be the same without Lynn and Keith and Helen and Dave!

I surely hope we can all get the date we want. We also like all of the choices that are offered on the July 18, but the new choices on the Med are great too. We would prefer to do something different at this time so the July 18 would get the first choice vote.

I talked to DVC today and the points for the July 18 is the highest of them all because that is the "peak season" cruise!

There are just too many decisions and too little time!:confused3

Like Andrew, we also faxed to inventory control but have yet to hear from them. I guess we will just keep options open until Tuesday morning and let the dice roll where they may! Let's hope we all end up here happy and full of smiles on Tuesday!

I will claim that pirate: for Garry, Maryann. He has had more fun with that hat and it is the first thing to be out and ready to pack! Remember we are in the same stateroom you and Tom had for the Med. I am wondering if we will have the same stateroom attendant. We had him when we had that room on the previous cruise and he remembered us when we saw him on the Med cruise.

I wanted to let you see how much our youngest grandsons have grown since last summer. Nathan is a freshman in high school and is 5'11" - 190# and is having an outstanding football season and great academic year too. Chad is in 5th grade which he likes very much and he is quarterback again this year. He is having a good football season too and they really keep us busy and we love it!
