I still have my Palo brunch reservation for July 29th 1030am. I'm trying to switch it over to my sister. If she doesn't want it, was there someone here that did? Seems like someone had a special anniversary that was looking for one. Speak now.
I told Andrew I would cancel by tonight PST.

My son is at Cub camp Saturday and last night I had to attend a pre camp meeting most of the night, and was late home from work.

Work varies as well if I work local or in London, this week I haven't been able to post any mornings due to work commitments and again tomorrow I am not around.

I have already decided to cut down on Diss posts, but want to try to keep up to date here as we are close to the cruise, then I am taking a break as balancing everything is difficult.

We'll miss you ,Andrew.

I haven't been on as much,either. I'mtrying to get everything done for the cruise and I need almost everything done for the wedding before we go on the cruise.

Both my boys were scouts. Mo oldest is an Eagle Scout. I miss those days.

I agree Wendy. When I was running around from meeting to meeting and DH & DS were away ANOTHER weekend camping, I couldn't wait for it to be over. But now, I remember it fondly. Congrats to your son. My DH & DS are Eagle scouts and Tom & I both do merit badges for our council.

Thank you so much, Susy! I actually have brunch for the last sea day, so sitting with you wouldn't work out . . . I really don't mind eating alone but would also be open to having someone who wasn't able to get a brunch reservation come along . . . although if I get squeezed into the group thing I will cancel it.

passport watch is almost over. my mom's passport should be here on friday. i got my euro today. if you have a wachovia near you, they will give you 5, 10, 20. they do charge a $15 fee.

I think it's great that you're still involved in scouting. My uncle ,who is almost 80 . is also an Eagle scout and is still involved in scouting in his community. I hope my son eventually gets back into it.

I'm glad they'll have soemthing in common when they meet on the cruise.

Good luck with the passports. Luckily you don't need them for this cruise. What a mess with people trying to expedite them. You should be fine with getting them for Dec.

Harole Ann, should I be concerned, we are on an all day private excursion in Rome with you. I just hope you have clothes left by day 6. Otherwise, Sallie won't be the only one flashing. THe poor Pope.

DCL is holding the private dining room for you on July 29th at 10:30 am. There are a couple of issues. You sent a list with 14 people but the dining room only seats 13.
The other issue is she can’t reserve it until those of you who have already booked Palo (for yourselves) cancel. The system will not allow you to have 2 reservations for this. She cancelled yours so you are fine but, the Jobling and Rice reservations will need to cancel their Palo Brunch as soon as possible.

Just let me know and I will call her back to set it all up.

She said she would hold it for a couple of days.

PLEASE CONFIRM ASAP IF YOU WILL CANCEL YOUR'S

This relates to BRUNCH only, if you have an existing BRUNCH ressie and are coming to the group BRUNCH you cannot have two Dinner afternoon tea is fine.

JIWALL JO-ANN I need to know if you want 2 or 3. I am trying to increase to 14 so you can have 4, but It doesnt look hopfull.

Andrew.......definitely keep the 2, keep the 3, we'll try to get my other parent in for the #14 spot, if not, one of us won't go............I hope that's ok?

Excitement about here -- the entire upper east side was just blacked out for 45 minutes . . . rolling blackouts all over the city . . . we had a woman stuck in the elevator here at our floor and got to see the super crowbar her out . . . of course it could happen again at any moment, but at least so far it looks to be a short one this time instead of the huge one 4 summers ago.

You are lucky if this is your first really hot day---we have had 90's the past two days and the humidity has been extremely high. We did have a storm early this afternoon with more lightening and wind than rain, then more sun & heat. After that rain again and now sun! The air conditioner has never quit, thank goodness . Our computer is dying, but the air is cool! For right now, I will take the air!

Ok 2nd Brunch Group......I need just last names (I think I have all those already) AND your RESERVATION NUMBER. Any other brunch you have reservations for will be cancelled. Please let me know if you still want your spot. I need to give her the Last names and Reservation numbers by tommorrow. I will also pm each of you. Please send me the info via PM.
