Hi Andrew,

DCL is holding the private dining room for you on July 29th at 10:30 am. There are a couple of issues. You sent a list with 14 people but the dining room only seats 13.
The other issue is she can’t reserve it until those of you who have already booked Palo (for yourselves) cancel. The system will not allow you to have 2 reservations for this. She cancelled yours so you are fine but, the Jobling and Rice reservations will need to cancel their Palo Brunch as soon as possible.

Just let me know and I will call her back to set it all up.

She said she would hold it for a couple of days.

PLEASE CONFIRM ASAP IF YOU WILL CANCEL YOUR'S

Evening all,

Andrew, I've got my fingers and toes x for the brunch!

Like you Andrew - I am trying to cut back on the amount of time I am spending on the computer -my back suffers when I am on alot.

I have been out shopping again - I really need to get a grip, but I cant resist a bargin -so far I have bought 7 new pairs of sandals - I am busy trying to break them in and decide which ones to take on the cruise. (Its a good job Daves away;) )

I also got a strippy red and white vest top - to wear on pirate night -so I think Im sort Joann;)

I just got a shock, well a fright anyhow - IM not keen on having my phototaken - Dave and I are normally the couple rushing past everyone in the embarkation photo line. Well at the weekend there was a pro photographer @ the dog competition. He put his photos on the web today. There are some good ones of the dogs and ARGHHHHHHH  There I am standing with Floss. Iam wet (rain) hair all aover the place - Floss looks good though.

Does that mean we would have to cancel any addtl Brunch ressie, or ANY other ressie (incl dinner?).
Brian

Andrew, I have a question about the Palo ressies - Not your brunch, just a question in general. We have 2 rooms booked. My husband and sons are booked in one and my daughter and I are booked in another - do you think I'll be able to make 2 Palo brunch reservations that way? Or is the fact that they are linked gonna keep us :confused3 down to one either way?

This relates to BRUNCH only, if you have an existing BRUNCH ressie and are coming to the group BRUNCH you cannot have two Dinner afternoon tea is fine.

JIWALL JO-ANN I need to know if you want 2 or 3. I am trying to increase to 14 so you can have 4, but It doesnt look hopfull.

You could book one for all the adults not two different dates. Does that answer. Is per person not per stateroom.

Yes good night all fine.

I am off soon as well.

Good night Andrew -- let me know if you end up needing one at your private Palo brunch -- I snagged a reservation just now (probably given up by one from your group!) but would cancel if there was room on Sunday. Congrats on getting it, either way! Also, if I end up keeping mine, if anyone out there wants to join me, they are welcome (since I got a table for 1 or 2).

We were living in Northern California (Silicon Valley area - not as close as Dan, but pretty close:) ) and the engineer dads were so bad about taking over the process of making the pinewood derby cars that we thought about having a parent race too - instead, most of us leaders had the boys make the cars during den meetings so that we could "supervise" any parental overinvolvement.

I know exactly what you mean. Some of the cars could not have possibly been made by a child. The funny thing about DS's car was that it was the first time he entered and DH bought a kit. The two of them were clueless so they hardly did anything to it (just smoothed out the block of wood so the car looked like a wedge and it made the weight) and painted it blue. When the car won, the dad's couldn't believe it! DS was proud because except for the sawing, he really made his own car.
