When most of the civilized world thinks about Oklahoma the Broadway show or the movie often comes to mind. Well, I hate to admit it, but I, a native of the state, have never seen either (boo, hiss).
But I'm working on my shortcomings. In fact, tonight we're taking the girls to see the show, which is being staged by our very talented local theater company. For you that live near NYC, the star of the show is the talented Kelli O'Hara, who just finished The Pajama Game on Broadway with Harry Connick Jr.
Kelli is a grad of the school for which I work. We're having a reception for her here on campus tomorrow. So this will be a nice treat.
Now, let's sing ... O-K-L-A-H-O-M-A ...
