Once in WDW Mary Poppins kissed my oldest son - big red lipstick kiss - it was great fun - people commented on it all day - I think he was about 3 or 4 at the time.

Personally, I will only wear my good jewelry on the ship and will leave it locked up in the cabin safe when in port . . . it's just not worth the risk to me, standing out a bit with valuable jewelry.

I'm doing the same thing - saving my nice jewelry for the ship & wearing costume jewelry on certain tours. I do have a gold cross necklace that I pretty much wear everyday, and will probably wear that regardless... we'll see

I just noticed a schedule change when I logged into my cruise reservation. It now shows Villefranche on Day 8 (July 25) and Marseille on Day 9 (July 26). Originally (including yesterday) it showed Marseille on Day 8 (July 25) and Villefranche on Day 9 (July 26). It appears these two port days have been switched.

Given I had a private tour scheduled in Villefranche this will need to be rescheduled. I am wondering why I have not heard anything from Disney about this?

I thought I should warn anyone else who has a private or non-Disney excursion planned in one of these two ports.)


I cannot believe that they changed it without let us know. What about private car?

What about Evening Casino and what about pirate??

Hi Deb,

Have you phoned DCL to check with them - you know what computers can be like. I would phone and ask for a supervisor to check this before re-arrangeing your private excursion.

We've not heard anything about a change.

I didnt know than you for the update, I always thought it strange them going past Villafrance and then going back afterwards, both ports are close and as far as i know both private tour operators that i have booked cover both ports, it would make one trip slightly longer.

Is anyone taking their good jewelry ?? I always take my wedding and engagement rings, and a couple of little pieces for the evening, but Im worried with everything Im hearing about Barcelona and ports of call- I would hope if they are on my fingers- they will be safe?????

Take limited amount care in Barcelona leave it in hotel safe, on our private tours you should be ok,

Care to explain the "Tea Bags" reference?

Of course -- on the other thread Andrew and I post on (next year's August PC repo cruise) I mentioned something about Chris (Grandmax3) and I trying to figure out how to "do tea" -- I meant, reserve Palo tea for a group of us. Andrew, plus a few others on that thread, immediately began telling me how to "do tea" in great detail (heat the water, get a tea bag, etc. etc.). It went on for quite some time. Hence when I got the Will Turner major pirate Andrew put me down as Captain Tea Bags, aka Will Turner. I rather liked it and yet it has mysterously disappeared . . .
