wHen I check my cruise plans on Disney it still shows us having brunch on the last day of the cruise. I thought we were supposed to be having it on the 7th day. Does it not show up on cruise plans when you are in the private room. I'm confused.

I don't want to give up our scheduled brunch unless we know we are with the group. But if we had 2 palo brunch reservations I wouldn't be upset either. It would make up for missing Afternoon Tea.

This post was on the general forum board. The TPaper problem continues...

Bring a few of those Charmin travel rolls of toilet paper. From, our experience last May in the Med, toilet paper was not always available in the restrooms. There were a number of times I shared mine with some of my fellow travelers. You can find it at Target or Walmart in the travel size section and it is small enough to fit in a daybag.

I should not have mentioned my dismal low-post count, now a got a tag that comments on it. I was very happy with my old tag "Mouseketeer" - which I have had for eight years now! I was very attached to it.

Anyway, j&p uk - when is your anniversary? We have one extra palo dinner that I think we will be cancelling.

Eeyorelover - my kids love the block - because it has a skateboard park! I have been dying to see that SJP line but they don't seel it anywhere that we have been lately.

Well, at least your tagged! Just kidding - it could be worse - TF is being nice lately - well ok - she's always nice - but I sure like her sense of humor - taken out of context -the tags are hilarious!

Hi everybody,
Life is still very crazy. I have my mom settled at my brother's house and she now understands she will not be going back to live alone. I want to get though this trip and then we can make more definate plans. Right now, it looks good that I can come on this trip.

We got home yesterday at 6pm. I have friends that left their car in my garage while they were on the Disney 10 day Med. I picked them up at Reagan National at midnight (Sat night/Sun morning) and they crashed at my house for the night before their drive back to VA Beach today.

They had an awesome time. They had decided to cancel all Disney excursions and do it all on their own. They said they were really happy with their decision. They said the Disney groups were large and very slow moving. Many were complaining that they missed part of their excursion as time ran out. She siad the weather was perfect. The Med water is cold. She told me she is going to write out and e-mail me what she did at each port. I will copy and paste it here when I get it. She very much encouraged me to do the same. She said Disney had awesome information on the ship and in your room about where to catch the trains and taxis to get where you wanted to go. She said the shows were spectacular....

They bought in DVC while on the ship. She said the deals were out of this world.

I left for Blacksburg VA (VA Tech) for Daniel's orientation. We are at The Inn at VA Tech right now. Orientation is Monday and Tuesday.

I am exhausted. I am worried about my mom, the last several weeks have been an emotional rollercoaster and now I am thinking of sending my oldest out of the nest.

I'm so glad you're coming on the cruise and that your mom is settled for now. How wonderful your brother is taking some responsiblility in the matter. You have so much on your plate. Hopefully this vacation will give you peace and perspective to deal with these issues when you get back.

How thoughtful of you to think of Med reports when you have life going on all around you.

Only 3 weeks now and we'll all be in Barcelona beginning our Med adventure together.

Good night all,
It's been a very busy weekend and another busy week coming up. The kids passports are in the system, (no we don't need them for this cruise.) THe medical authorization and travel consent forms for the kids are all taken care of for while we are away. The fish extender is done, the packing has started, and our list is slowly being taken care of. I found sandals which I've worn all day and they feel great. I feel like we will be ready after all.
THis board has been so much help with ideas, lists, tips etc...
THank you all for your help in making this the most wonderful trip we could have.
Only 19 days left until we leave. WOW!!!

The last time I was in Blacksburg VA was for Hokie Focus....April 14th and
15th. I sat here and typed to you guys how wonderful and quiet and perfect this town is. Then April 16th.....

As I drove around campus this evening, you can see marked changes in the campus. Police were stationed all around the drill field and there are large sirens now....

Just got all caught up - 25 pages or so, too much to comment on. I do want to thank everyone for their clothes list - I will use these to help me!!

I had mentioned earlier that I had a packing list. I actually just used Mary Jo's, AllEars packing list: http://allearsnet.com/pl/TripPackingList.doc, and another one that I found somewhere (I downloaded it and don't know the original address). I went through all 3 of these and deleted things that I didn't need. I haven't combined them yet. Not sure if I will or not.

We leave 2 weeks from tomorrow - I can't imagine how I will possibly be ready!!

I have been lurking for the last few weeks so have been keeping up with everyone(i think!) suddenly there is only just over 2 weeks until we fly to BCN, need to buy new suitcases as they got battered by over energetic handlers in Puero Rico in April!! have no packing list, still undecided on excurions, have not been able to book Palo dining for our 25th Wedding Anniverary, clothes shopping to do...........I have emailed the Cristal Palace twice to check our reservation made with hotel.com and have recieved no reply......Panic is setting in



The DCL kids one sounds good, i do however recon i will have trouble getting my kids off the ship!! the beach may just tempt them! but the DCL mondello beach trip is pricey for 4 not much reduction for children i think £150 for 3 hours on the beach is a bit rich i had a quote on a private transfer who Quoted 100 Euro return, a tad cheaper than DCL

I sent e.mails to the hotel directly they didnt respond to me, however I booked through a hotel group in Barcelona and they confirmed everything is ok.
