Morning from this side of the Pond and then some. :) Your Sunday is almost over, I think.

Thank you both so much. That is exactly what I'm looking for! I really need to do a daily check on that first page. There is so much good information there. Thank you so much, Andrew.

Great assist, Andrew.:lmao:

Early afternoon here still watching the mens tennis final going on now. Two sets all.

Lots of info cut and pasted over the months from here and elsewhere is on the front page.

Very Funny Andrew and Sallie:rotfl: :rotfl:

Okay I meant to post this before my life got so dramatic,

Joann and I have a private tour booked in Palermo, we were in an eight seater vechicle but her parents have joined us and we are now in a 16 seater for 9 of us therefore we have some space, we are a group of 9 adults, (Keith and I, Joann and Ken plus their 3 girls, Bill and Alice Joann's mum and dad)the plan is to leave at 8am goto Segasta and Erice, then spend some time on a beach, we'll get back about an hour before the ship sails, so a full day.
The difference between this and the DCL visit will be time on the beach, no long lunch stop we will find stuff as we go, however we will have entrance fees and lunch money to find. The cost obviously decreases depending on numbers but is already less than DCL with just 9 of us.

If you are interested in this tour please give me a PM

Lynn

We may be interested in joining you on your tour, i have tried to email you but it keeps bouncing back!! can you email me a few more details, we are a party of 4 me, DH, DS11 and DD8.

FYI I think you have to have a certain number of posts to PM someone, IE Personal Message.

I will do it for you.

I am going to try to finish my online check in. Kept getting bumped off a couple of days ago!

Hopfully she will come back to you soon, keep with us here we only have a couple of weeks now to go!

Her trip sounds good, I am doing the kids DCL one there.

I have been lurking for the last few weeks so have been keeping up with everyone(i think!) suddenly there is only just over 2 weeks until we fly to BCN, need to buy new suitcases as they got battered by over energetic handlers in Puero Rico in April!! have no packing list, still undecided on excurions, have not been able to book Palo dining for our 25th Wedding Anniverary, clothes shopping to do...........I have emailed the Cristal Palace twice to check our reservation made with hotel.com and have recieved no reply......Panic is setting in:eek:

The DCL kids one sounds good, i do however recon i will have trouble getting my kids off the ship!! the beach may just tempt them! but the DCL mondello beach trip is pricey for 4 not much reduction for children i think £150 for 3 hours on the beach is a bit rich:eek: i had a quote on a private transfer who Quoted 100 Euro return, a tad cheaper than DCL:)

Lisa,
wHen I check my cruise plans on Disney it still shows us having brunch on the last day of the cruise. I thought we were supposed to be having it on the 7th day. Does it not show up on cruise plans when you are in the private room. I'm confused.:confused3 :confused3

I don't want to give up our scheduled brunch unless we know we are with the group. But if we had 2 palo brunch reservations I wouldn't be upset either. It would make up for missing Afternoon Tea.

Sandra

hows about that for timing :thumbsup2

just popped in, saw you fluffing and couldn't resist :goodvibes

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Cats that can type???? only in a Disney Movie?

UUMM.....Wasn't "That Darned Cat" Disney? :rotfl:

Hi Laura;

We are going to Orly right after disembarkation as well . . . then on to Paris. We will do DLP right before heading back to Barcelona for the repo.

For sunscreen, look for the ingredient meroxyl . . . the most famous brand is Anthelios, but I think the L'Oreal brand sold in Europe as Ombrelle has it also . . .it's the very best UVA/UVB blocker and I've been buying it online from Canada for years since it wasn't sold in the US.

Cool! :woohoo: Wonder if we'll run into each then. How are you getting back to Paris? Wait - your getting there on the 18th that's right. Oh well, anyway, on to read your report on Live Aid - caught the NBC version on it last night. DH wanted to know what all the hoopla was about! :headache:

For the next hour - DD and I gave him tidbits about the history and ways to contribute - which he wasn't listening to (LALALALALALLALAALA) until I mentioned ways to save on your energy bill - biggest fault that he is guilty of? Leaving our telephone chargers plugged in - guess what? He unplugged them last night. :woohoo: So that is his one thing! :woohoo: :woohoo:

OK - I discovered this wonderful new shopping center called The Block at Orange - wonderful - they even have a Steve and Barry's which carries Sarah Jessica Parkers new Bitten line - each piece is under $20! :woohoo: Now your talking my kinda of $$$. :rotfl2: (Just an old cheapo at heart!)

Anyway, I need to go shopping like I need a hole in my head but I will be going - can't resiste a good bargain. For some reason, whenever I go - I seem to find the best bargains. Did I tell you all about my $10 3/4 length leather coat? And my $25 dollar red leather Coach bag? All Authentic. Just happened upon them clearancing. I may not have luck in parking spaces but in finding a bargain - that I have! ::yes::

Yesterday found some Levi's 515 jeans on clearance for $10. That went into my bag although I won't be taking them on the cruise - I think - too hot for the climate but they'll be waiting for me when I get home.

Sallie - UM....your cats are adorable - Mia - if you know what's good for you - don't mess with MOM! :lmao: With hot flashes and personal items - watch out!

We're Red Sox fans here in the Cayman Islands too. I got my DH and DS t shirts that said -" my favourtie baseball teams are the Red Sox and whoever beats New York." :cheer2: They wear them proudly. Sorry NY Fans.
By the way my son's baseball team won their first game at the Disney Salute to Baseball tournament in Orlando yesterday, they were over the moon. They had lost their first 3 games. Today they're all at Animal Kingdom riding Mt Everest again and again and again. It's given my DH plenty of time to phone home and chat. :)

Congratulate your son on the win, Penny! Did the Pixie Dust I sent you help?? Have fun!!!:dance3:

See you soon!

Dan, thanks for taking a crack at it! I am going to try this today and hopefully your suggestion about the cookiest will work. Our puppy chewed the cables to the screen and the computer on my PC , for some reason one of the kids had undone it and put the cable on the floor   so I only have the Apple now. There are no stores open on Sunday  Anyway I'll give it a go.

If I've told people once, I've told them a thousand times - don't buy the dog-biscuit or beefsteak flavored computer cables! :cool2:

I am the only one that charging the electronics takes a full day? I don't know how people doing. Ane hasn't someone invented one power source that will charge all these things? I saw one on the today show but it wasn't for sale yet - it was like a pad that you lay your electronics on and it charges all kinds.

For our trip we have one portable DVD for DD who is too young for ipod, two batteries, four ipods, one psp, three nintendo DS, one gameboy, one leapster, canon EOS has 3 batteries, canon powershot, video camera has 2 batteries, two blackberries, one laptop, two bluetooth headsets, five sets of Bose noise reducing headphones that each take a AAA battery - OMG!!!!! Just figuring out how to get everything plugged in takes me an hour and hubby has it all pretty organized with labels on the cables and such.

How does everyone else deal with electronics overload????

We usually deal with it by endless arguments over who gets to plug in their charger, and periodic sabotage of unplugging something else in order to get an outlet.

It could be worse. You could be one of the "I ordered my passports four months ago and what do you mean they're not due to arrive until the day after my cruise starts" crowd.

hows about that for timing :thumbsup2

Way to go, Helen!! :yay: Hope you are feeling better---bet you just need some peanut butter!!:thumbsup2 I have a really good peanut butter fudge recipe for that Jif peanut butter that would make you feel good really quick!:cool1:

Take it easy, and we will be seeing you soon!:surfweb:

Ok, what is everyone wearing for Pirate Night? DH & I are not into costumes so what might be some low-key ideas for the night. Normally, we probably wouldn't do anything, but you folks are so full of fun, we don't want to be left out!:dance3:

Maryann
In previous years, I've worn black capris and and black and white striped shirt................scarves for my head and big hoop earrings...............DH usually wears a pirate T-shirt and jeans.....we try to pick up things when we see them (The Disney store has some pirate stuff too)

I should not have mentioned my dismal low-post count, now a got a tag that comments on it. I was very happy with my old tag "Mouseketeer" - which I have had for eight years now! I was very attached to it. :sad2:

Anyway, j&p uk - when is your anniversary? We have one extra palo dinner that I think we will be cancelling.

Eeyorelover - my kids love the block - because it has a skateboard park! I have been dying to see that SJP line but they don't seel it anywhere that we have been lately.
