Hope you enjoyed it Laura - Is frozen yogurt similar to ice, cream?

Yup - its like a soft serve ice cream in cone or cup - there is this place called Golden Spoon that only has about 17 calories per oz. Of course, that fine except if you add on anything - I add one 2 ozs of diced almonds, but they have everything from Captn Crunch cereal to animal crackers, broken pieces of waffle cone, strawberryies, bananas, caramal, fudge, you name it they have it - even gummy bears you put on the frozen yougurt! I like mine plain old vanilla but DD liked the Peanut Butter Cup - it was too sweet for me.

mmmmm sounds good - I dont normally like yougurt - but I could eat it frozen.

I think I would enjoy the peanut butter cup - Last Christmas one of the dis friends I cruised with, sent me a parcel - when I opened it, it was 2 jars of Jif peannut butter

Here's a :headache: moment for you all!

Today is my DS's birthday - I never made the connection. He, last I heard was on his way to Vegas. Alas - we are still not talking but like a good and maternal mother - I called his voicemail and left a nice sweet message asking him if he'd like to come pick up his presents. That the dogs and I would still like to see him nevermind our differences.

DD14 got him an LA Dodger's History book. MIL gave him $100 and I bought him an 80 gb Video ipod. He never answered. Oh well, young men can be stubborn. I hope he's lucky though - 1000s of couple getting married today can't be wrong, right? :confused3

I didn't realize you like Peanut Butter. DH swears that only smooth is the best, but I like the crunchy type. What do you like?

:grouphug: it must be so hard for you:grouphug:

I love smooth , but Dh likes crunchy;)

My local supermarket have just started doing the Reeces Peanut butter cups.

My diet went out the window that day :lmao:

You know the scary part of today? Someone on the other thread mentioned how many people were getting married today........um.......DS is going to Vegas with girlfriend of 15 months with a 2nd installment of an injury settlement in his pockets! OMG! :scared1: Never even thought about that part!

I hope I don't hear about this: :bride: :groom: and then do this: :faint:

That's my idol! Your going for 5 weeks and so am I. I was starting to panic but your list is what I'm aiming for in mine.

1 pr jeans for the crossing
1 pr black slacks (nice type)
3 sundresses (covering knees and 1/2 shoulder)
2 cover-ups for the dresses
3 capris (beige or brown, khaki green and blue)
7-10 tops - mostly white but red too (probably picking up some along the way
1 Formal
2 skirts
2 sandals/tennise shoes/walking type
1 fancy pair
1 pr croc

And picking up a hoodie or sweatshirt over there.

and that is where I run into problems. I am having to cut down on lingerie but that is what I'm bringing the problem is where do I put all my face creams and lotions! :scared1:

Laura, the best face creams and lotions in the world are in Europe and many can be bought there in any drugstore for less than you would pay here -- bring a small size of whatever you need and buy more there. It will be fun and conserve space in your luggage at the same time.

OK - I'm probably late again - but they have changed. That will teach me to stay off for 2 days. Julie got all changed over again.

And on another note - got our Paris Museum Pass packages on Thursday. They are nice. .

So they did! I like these -- I know exactly who I said everything to -- the first to Jonesing on the 2008 repo thread, the second to Andrew here, and the third to all of you here . . .Cool!

Thank you, Tag Fairy!!!!!

And on another note - got our Paris Museum Pass packages on Thursday.

I'm going to buy a two day pass while there and concentrate what I want to see that's on the list into those two days -- the nice thing is that everything is free for under 18's so I won't have to pay for the girls and yet we will all get in faster. The days I don't have the pass I will do the things not on the list (Seine boat by night, Tour Eiffel, Pere Lachaise, Catacombs, wandering the Champs Elysees, waiting in line to get steak frites at Le Relais d l'Entrecote, etc.). Also Versailles is included on the pass but it didn't make sense for me to go to a 4 day one just to get that included, so that will be a non-pass day, too. I wonder if we will run into each other in Paris????

:wave2: Helen - I wish I had tickets. I think that Julie does - have to bug her to see how it was. :confused3

Yes, my oldest daughter and I will be there today -- it's a long one at Giants Stadium, starting at 1 PM and going probably until 11 or later . . . should be a lot of fun and luckily no rain predicted.

Really scary, Laura -- :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: to you and hope this slowly works out and resolves . . . he should be glad that he has you as a mother instead of giving you so much grief!

Just a note to say that I bought everything for our grab bag yesterday while wandering Chinatown, Soho, and Greenwich Village . . . it's hard to believe that we will be on our Dismeet in just a few weeks . . . Sorry I couldn't include a cupcake from Magnolia Bakery on Bleeker St., but while there I did ask them for a sticker so that I could include that in the bag!

Laura, you're a good Mom. Good Luck with all of this. I'm struggling with my 17 year old and it's not fun at all. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:
