July 28, 2007 - "Rome-ancing the Mouse Cruisers" -11 days! Part 2

Leaving for the airport in a few minutes. So excited to meet all of you on this, our "Do Over" cruise. Everyone have a safe trip and we'll see ya in Barcelona!

I am sure you are as excited as your first attempt or maybe even more. I would be a nervous wreck.

All will be fine and have a safe journey.

See you guys soon. One at a time, slowly but surely, everyone is leaving. Not many of us left and I still need a few minutes to "ketchup".

We have about 26 hours left to go. Just dropped off "Sasha" to the groomer so when I take her to my sister, she is nice, clean and soft

Pedicures this afternoon. There is always laundry to do here - my middle son took a summer class in college and half the time he went to work right after school. He brought change of clothing (sneakers/polo shirt - works on a golf course). Well he just cleaned his car and handed me about two loads of wash.

Toiletries for the two cabins all ready, gift bag and carryon almost done. Forma/semi-formal dresses out for dd and me.


One more trip to the bank tomorrow (need to get two rolls of quarters also) and then will be packing all morning.

Well, right now is the time we'd be running around doing last minute stuff before heading to the airport for our 7:10 flight, IF WE WERE GOING. But, sadly, not this time. I'll be waiting to read the blogs.

I know Sallie and family are enjoying themselves in Paris, as Carley has sent Alice an e.mail, they say they are climbing 700 steps presume the Eiffel tower?

We're leaving for the airport in about 23 hours....but, it's 26 hours until departure time.........I believe the thunderstorms aren't coming until after we leave, let's hope so!

My DD23 is on the plane right now, heading home.......my DD20 is picking her up!! Once they all get home, the madness will begin!

After 7pm, I can finally print out our boarding passes!!!

I booked this cruise on the 4th April 2006 and now its only two days away, we plan to go to the beach tomorrow, maybe up the coast at Matro or Blanes.

We booked the same day. I can't believe it's almost here!

Thank you checked the urban train times from Placa Cataluna and the go every 10 mins or so and only Euro 2.50 each, so going up the coast for a day!

Safe trip all.

Went to the Chololate musuem today sure I saw someone from this cruise there, and in La Rambler someone was waering a DCL T shirt!

Beware pickpockets around, there are lots on La Rambler.
