Quick question- why are some putting money on their cruise account before hand??
Can this be used for tips on the ship as well as the spa???

We did ours because my sister buys Disney scrip at her church and she wanted to use the scrip and not just regular money. Yes, you can use that money from your onboard account for tips, spa, shutters, on board charges.

I'm with you and Dan on this one, I think we should wear them on the 1st day as we board and at the sail away party that way we'll be able to spot each other more easily

Have to say its a case of history repeating itself, the 2005 repo had a couple of posters who went far to far, after warnings from the moderators, the thread was closed down and some Dissers 'left' and went elsewhere.

The whole point of these cruise threads are to make Friends and have an enjoyable holiday/ vacation. Sometimes jokes can go just a bit too far, and when posting you might not guess or understand someones reaction to your post.

Plus with not just people from USA but English and other counties whilst we speak a common language sometimes there are slight differences in words and humor and can accidentally be taken the wrong way.

It is so sad if people drop out, I must say in 2005, I did 'avoid' some previous Dissers who were on that cruise, I didn't think about canceling but i didn't want my holiday disrupted either.

I am glad we are a very very nice group.

I agree with you Andrew, I think that if people keep the "Disney spirit" alive, we can all have a few laughs and plan our trips......I'm glad that we are all on this thread together, it is TRULY ONE OF THE NICEST GROUPS I HAVE MET ON THESE BOARDS....my only fear is that on the Med cruise, we won't have time to hang out and have fun together due the the intense schedule......THX TO ALL NEW AND "OLD" FOR JOINING OUR GROUP AND SHARING IDEAS AND QUESTIONS!!!

WOW I'm completely gob smacked that people take things so far that they actually cancel a cruise. Also I'm shocked that folks actually go out of their way to be nasty to someone they've not even met. The thought of that really offends me and is way beyond my comprehension. I AM SO GLAD THAT NONE OF THAT GOES ON HERE. Being on this thread and 'meeting' all you people has actually made looking forward to this cruise really, really enjoyable.

Well, I just got back from a private audience with the pope!!!!! I wanted to explain my hot flashes and my deep concern about the high temperatures in Rome. I asked for special dispensation concerning the use of his beautiful fountains. He was very sympathetic and quite friendly. He couldn't believe how red my face got and the amount of steam pouring through my clothing during one of my flashes. Sooooooo... He granted me a special dispensation- and I now I CAN-COOL OFF IN THE FOUNTAINS WITHOUT GETTING ARRESTED!!!!!!
And guess what?????? He loved my propellor hat so much that he sent his pope shopper out to get him and his whole entourage one !!!!
Wait.. Im not done..... the best part was when he asked if I would like to go for a ride in his POPE mobile!!!!!!!! I thought I would faint!!! I quickly said 10 Hail Mary's, 5 Our Fathers and a quick Glory be!!!!!!
I didn't think any of you would believe me... so here is a picture me and my Pope !!!!!!! What a great guy!!!!!

Okay, I'm convinced........YOU'RE COMPLETELY CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!............AND HYSTERICAL...............

Any day is fine for us although delivery might occur later rather than earlier in the day!!!

I'm sorry Lynn I have you on my list but must have missed it last time I typed it. You'll be on the final list.

As far as timing for delivery, it is entirely up to you. I'm sure there are all types of people on board, morniing, evening, late night etc.. So any time will be OK.

This has me thinking - DH and I must renew our passports in 08. We are scheduled to do the May '08 repo - I was going to wait until Jan of '08 to send them in but at the rate we're going - I think I should do it when I get back! Then maybe it will get back to me prior to April. What you all think?

My suggestion would be to send it in as soon as you get back and then you'll be done and it won't be hanging over your head. Just my opinion,
