Barb I sent you a PM but I'm not sure if you got it. It's about the kids gift bags. Please let me know if Ben has a PSP ?

thanks

Ok, since this group knows everything....( I am not being sarcastic!!! Really...) Where is the best place to get an IPOD?? I want one with alot of memory. If online, I would need to get it by Friday. My son says we will not have any trouble downloading movies etc to it. (I am technically challenged. ) Will we? (Have trouble or is it relatively easy?)
Thank you in advance (again)

Well, apple.com with fast shipping would get it to you very quickly . . . I'm not sure beyond that (we have a store on Fifth and 59th). I find ipods extremely easy to use.

Julie,

Thanks regarding the info. on the calling cards. I had not thought of that. We do buy them here all the time to call Italy. I am going to get one for my son as soon as we get to Italy so he can call his girlfriend. (How will they survive two weeks without each other:idea: )

Costco is currently selling Verizon International Phone cards for $30 that seems to have some very good rates (both calling from and to the U.S.). They have toll free dial-ins for every country we'll be visiting.

Thank you. I will try to check into this.
Running out of time. More shopping today. Door signs made - just something simple. Called DCL and added some on-board credit to both cabins. Picking up Euros tomorrow. Need to make hair appointment (for trim). Pedicure just a walk in right before we leave.

Happy Sunday everyone - a bit off topic here,
We are hoping to have a nice picture taken on formal night. How does that work? Are the lines horrendous? We have late dinner. Also, are the pictures typically vertical or horizontal - there are 5 of us. I have heard that the sizes are usually 6x8 or 8x10, sound right?

Thank in advance for any info . . .

We have always had late dinner and never had a long wait for pictures. Try to get there just before the early seating goes in to the dining room and you can get a picture and then go to the show. Our pictures have always been 8x10 vertical. Hope this helps.

pirate: pirate: pirate: I needed this for the suspense of getting a mini pirate

Congrats on the mini pirate, Andrew and glad to see you have started to pack the car!

Does anyone know or can someone direct me to the prices for the internet on the ship. I know I have seen it and did not pay attendion to it. I thought it was a bit much. I liked the old unlimited package. My son was thinking of bringing his laptop.

Thanks.
Here you go...

Wireless Internet Access Disney Magic
Pay as you go - $0.75 per minute
100 min for $55 ($0.55/min)
250 min for $100 ($0.40/min)
500 min for $150 ($0.30/min)

I truly wish they still had the old Unlimited Package available, and the really troublesome thing to me is that there is no reason they couldn't. The new wireless service does not cost them anymore than the old service save for the initial cost of setting it up...

Actually, based on what I've been reading, I'm glad they don't have unlimited. They've been having really slow connection speeds. With unlimited not only are you competing with everyone willing to pay .30/minute, you'd be competing with every teen who is trying to download the latest bootleg video release as well. Until they add some overall bandwidth to the ship, anything that reduces casual use of the Internet is good for those who have to have connectivity for more serious use.

Hi everyone,

Really quick hello. About to board the airplane from San Antonio Texas to Dallas & then home to Los Angeles -- looking at 6 hours before I get home. I'll tell you the sad passport details when I am able to.

Hugs to all. I know I have a LOT to ketchup on.

:grouphug: to you, Mary Jo -- we have all been worried and hope things are working out with the passport :grouphug:

Anybody on Eastbound Panama, I keep hearing some rumbling....what is the story??
Lisa

Ok so reading all this info raises a few questions?

Where in the UK is the best place to buy zip lock clear plastic bags?:confused3
Helen Our pal Jim couldn't believe we could live without ziploc so he posted a large parcel of them to us last christmas!!!!
If I'd have known sooner I'd have posted some to you

Don't feel obligated to use the paper bag fish extender. It was just something that came into my mind when you said paperbag, so I threw it together. My feelings will NOT be hurt if you use something else.

Sandra

If you use something else, can I have the paper bag one???

;)

I am just standing up ''to be counted'' on Thursday, sent a PM.

Andrew, what does that mean? Is everything okay? I would hate for anything to spoil your vacation - especially after you've done so much for everyone here. :grouphug:

By the way, I would appreciate not being scheduled for the Civitavecchia or LaSpezia days, since I will be doing well to even make it back to the ship, much less also pass out fish extender gifts!!!!

If we get to pick our days, I would like to pick Marseilles as I will have the most time to run around the ship.

:cutie:

Maryann, like so many addictions, it defies understanding to those not similarly afflicted!

I totally agree ad my husband insists on calling it the "diss boards" while I call it the "diz-boards". He thinks I am cuckoo for cocoa puffs.

Well, as Dan pointed out, people from CA are :dance3:

Andrew, Laura and I posted several times about it some time back -- if I get the chance, I'll find the first of those posts and you can read it. Some of it is a mystery even to us, though.

hey julie,

do you have some of the older quotes of the day written down? i think i want to put them in my scrapbook.

thanks,

lynnise
