After all, acording to the DIS, nobody in California is awake after midnight, except me.

Just a note, though to everyone, ::: ahem ::: Signature clipart must be no bigger than 550x200 pixels, and total clipart must not exceed 50,000 bytes or 50kb - or those pesky tech people will send you a warning

The following clipart is 163x175, and 7,971 bytes, so it is within guidelines

The following clipart is 260x280, and 16,673 bytes, so although in bytes it is okay, it is too tall pixel-wise, and shouldn't be used in signatures.

so mine must be too big? Need to figure how to make it smaller.

I have 3 dogs and I can't imagine getting a picture of the three of them to post, I worry that the picture would be a rear view of them.

So glad you got your 3rd tag - I can just imagine you getting quoted about your dog's rear end.

Does anyone know if the doors on the cabins are metal? I'm thinking of my door decorations and I'm wondering if magnets will work on them.
Also was a decision made about the fish hooks? I can't keep up with all the posts

Hi Penny - I see your questions have been answered but yes - the doors are metal. You can get magnetic sheets but be careful as sometimes they don't have a strong enough hold. What I do is either print what I want on photo paper - its thicker - or put it in a sheet protector. Then I go to Staples or Office Max and buy a small container of business card size magnets. These work wonderful and have a stronger hold on them than the magnetic sheets.

The business size magnets are made to be attached to the back of a business card. They usually have a small box for about $20 - it can be expensive but if you lose business cards like me - I just attach them and stick them on the fridge. Works great for that elusive pizza phone number I seem to always lose.

I've found that they made wonderful magnets that you can cut up and stick to the four corners of the sheet (the thicker the better or use a sheet protector) w/o damaging the door. (Which will peel if you stick tape on it - please no one ask me how I know that )


Oh Yeah! Tip - they make wonderful gifts for your servers too! I usually make them up one for their places. Since they're quarters are so small - I usually get a portion of a postcard from where we visited and cut it to match or a photo of us and attach it to them. We've had a great response and even some requests for them whenever we bring them out.

I'm so glad to hear that there will be some older teenage boys on the cruise and teenage girls, which means I'll never see him.

I never used to see my son - although I would get reports from the servers. One time he was spotted by our beverage waiter and he was in the hot tub with no less than 5 girls. He (the waiter) sounded a little in awe as I think he had a soft spot for blondes. Keep asking us from then on where he was and with how many girls. Truth be told - he never really had any trouble making friends - mostly all girls but he made friends. And we've been doing DCL since they opened in '98.

Whew! Finally caught up and I just recalled someone mentioning that I seem unnaturally preoccupied with tags.

I thought about that and whoever said it (Mary Jo?) your right - didn't realize it but lately the TF seems to be hitting everything on the nose - its hilarious and makes me laugh.

Besides - since we type them - they are an insight into our personalities or have them typed for us as was the last case about having a naked family lmao: ) - I can't help but laugh!

Besides - in the couple of years I've been on - I have NEVER seen so many hit in one day - WOW! I love it! Makes me smile and all over the place.

Plus, I love to see the excitment in the posts when someone sees their tag and tells us about it!

I was helping to book cruises that day & started calling before they opened. Got in at 2 minutes after they opened (I think 8am eastern), and was on hold for over 3 hours. I had time to read 10 more screens. But , the server is going down in a couple of minutes.

I had to do ketchup in three parts and give up on ketchup on the repo for 2008.

We can't go on the 2008 repo . Local schools now start before labor day. That pretty much shuts us out. That was not the case on the last west coast repo. School started after Labor day.

Yes the stateroom doors are most certainly metal and decorating them is great fun. It also makes it easier for the kids to recognise which is the right door.

I think we should all use Brian's fab web banner design as one of our room door magnets as it's obvious that we're adopting it as our offical logo.
