Ok all - I have GOT to go and pick up DD - she's got a spa appt for today along with the waxing and everything that girl needs to be made beautiful.

I find it ironic that I spend more on her facial creams and lotions and waxing just to make her self-esteem high than I do on myself. HHMMMMM, something wrong with that picture.

Anyway, since things are heating up and I have to spend 2 hrs there anyway, I am taking my laptop to catch up . I will park myself in a corner and commandeer an outlet and plug in.

Behave yourselves all and dont another one without me.

( I have to run now - the buzzer sounded and I don't want the towels to wrinkle.)

Jeez, Andrew -- let me introduce myself instead of having you jump in with the "She's got a strong personality" bit! Really, it's just to pull him down a few notches. But yes, my girls (who will be 15, 12, and 10 at sailing) and I were booked on the Aug. 8 Med cruise since the day they were released and just jumped ship (so to speak) to your cruise. Our TA pointed out that we could take the cat 12 GTY on yours PLUS the Aug. 18 repo for less than what I had already paid for the Aug.8 cruise (which so far has not been discounted). So that's what we did, and we will go to Paris and Disneyland Paris between getting off this cruise Aug. 8 and getting back on for the transatlantic Aug. 18. I look forward to meeting all of you.

I called their breeder, and thank goodness, she is still breeding traditional l siamese cats. She has since moved to Virginia, but through the magic of the internet,again) I was able to track her down.
She has a litter of kittens they are just ready to be sold. So, we are getting 2more sometime next week. I just cannot let Cleo stay alone during the day while we are working, so I hope she bonds with them as soon as possible. I am feeling better today, I finally turned my computer on and tried reading

I posted the fountain thing a couple of weeks when I saw it on the other thread, soooo glad you re arranging that Helen- thanks

Sallie, tell me about where in VA you need to get the kittens? Do you need a place to stay in VA. We have a private suite (used to have a nanny for years) where you can be comfprtable for over night and our "hotel" allows kitties!! (we have 3 cats and 1 dog!!)

Are you near Arlington,Va.? We'll be spending this weekend there at my sister's. My cousin is getting married in Springfield and the reception is in Old Town Alexandria.

The picture www.bethanycam.com is actually a webcam...so it updates every 15 seconds. Watch this weekend and the beach will totally fill up!!

Yes, I am right next to Arlington VA....my DFIL lives in Arlington. What church in Springfield is the Wedding at? Did I ever tell you guys that my DH is a minister????? Presbyterian........

Welcome Julie!! What a wonderful vacation you have planned!! I would love to be adopted by you as well. There is another family doing our cruise and then the 10 day one you cancelled and then the repo.....35 days on the Magic!! Either of you can adopt me!!

I have two DD's. DD13 is Annie (rising 8th grader) and DD11 Gretchen (rising 6th grader) if you have any my space, or e-mail or IM you would like to share I will pass it off to my girls. Also there is a TEEN/TWEEN thread for the kids on our cruise!!

I am also on the WB 2008 Panama, but I do not post on that thread. I do post some on EB 2008 Repo (I am lucky in that I get to do both Repos) and spend lots of time here!!!

Me too...what is that all about. Sometimes my kids just kill me.......They will say "Mom why don't you have any new clothes...."......."well, DUH...I spend it all on you!!"

You are too kind!!! Actually ,the breeder is going to drive up to deliver the cats to me since I bought Cleo and Chloe from her 15 years ago. She will not ship her cats, and I am so happy about that- I would have drove down with my husband if that was the case. I wonder if she is near you- they are located in Evington, Virginia 24550- Imagine if they are in the same neighborhood??? With all this "its a small world" going on ,on this thread I wouldn't be surprised!!! If so, you can send Annie and Gretchen with them to meet Carley for a pre- meet then we could open our home to them!!!Dont worry- we will send back before the cruise for packing!!!
