On our last cruise, one of my favorite gifts for me personally was a mini bottle of rum. I was planning on giving them to the parents on the list, but then I saw a post on the Cruise Line forum where people said they would be offended by getting such a gift.

Frankly, that thought never crossed my mind. Now that it has, I thought I should ask if anyone on the FE exchange doesn't drink or has a objection to getting such a gift. If so, I'll use an alternate gift for those people.

We are not offended at all. Love this idea. I already told DH about it, so I can't "steal" his.....oh, well.

My family and I are staying at the Radisson the night before also and plan on having dinner at Grills Deck. We are driving from MD and hope to have whole day on Friday for beach and pool.

Can I carry FE gifts onboard in boxes or do they have to be packed in carry on bags? As far as alcohol as gifts for adults, we are not offended at all!

All this don't over pack advice, I'm trying to figure out how to do that with 5 kids!

What is everyone planning on doing during the port calls? We know about Castaway Cay - but are at a loss for St. Marteen and St. Thomas. Any suggestions?

We are doing the following excursions:

St. Maartens - Afternoon Beach Bash Tour (We've been to the Orient Beach before and it is a really nice beach - just don't wander too far to the right end of the beach or else you end up in the "clothing optional" section of the beach. They had warning signs letting you know when we were there last time.)

St. Thomas - Full Day Caribbean Sail & Snorkel to Turtle Cove & Honeymoon Beach (highly recommended on Disboards when I did my research)

We are doing a Bernards' private tour on St. Maarten. Planning on hitting a couple of beaches there.

We don't have anything planned for St. Thomas. Probably will do some shopping.

On Castaway Cay, we have Jet Skis reserved and I'm going to get an on-island massage. (Can't wait for that one!)

Bourbon is preferable, but rum will always do in a pinch.

Great ideas. We are looking at the private Bernard Tours since it is recommended by Disboard users. Wondering - what if (sorry) a weather event makes us change itineraries...is there a refund or change of dates with Bernards?

I've been searching but can't locate a recent Navigator. My kids are getting excited and we want to look for the movies on the Fantasy. They are hoping Turbo will be showing. can someone tell me how to find them.

We were on the EBTA and the CC backpack, blue was the gift. It was the same as we got ladt year and on the DVC MC in January. I would describe it more closely, but I gave ours away to a family that had 2 children, but only 1 gift!

For Gold, it was the stationary and journal, also the same as it was in January when I became "gold."

Just researched Turbo and it's by Dreamworks and not Disney! That's what I get for believing a 6 & 8 year old I'd still like to locate the Navigators though.

Correct they are not. I count 32 DIS Members, 37 Stateroom and 120 ppl

Perfect. Thank you! I already have one of the blue backpacks from last year but can certainly find a use for another one, and then I can save some room on packing since I won't have to pack an extra backpack.

I'm still not sure how I'm going to pack for 13 nights between the cruise and my WDW stay, but this will help!

I'm packing NOW and I feel your pain! I have one big suitcase just filled with cruise stuff! Since we are driving I am now at the I-don't-care-as-long-as-it-fits-in-the-car stage. My vacation starts on Tues. and is 20 days long (the more stressful my job gets, the longer my vacation gets).

FE's are done, just a bit more packing to do and some house cleaning and I'm all good to go!
