As ome of you know I also have a Tread for this sasme cruise but for the week before(am doing a back to back)...I found this thread that has been up and runnig since there 2005 Mexican Riviera cruise...I asked if they would mind coming over to my thread and telling us about htere excursions and such so some did...so the next few posts that I will be posting are from them

..first one is below
I am posting from the July 30, 2005 cruise board. Got Disney requested some insight on our cruise, so here are thoughts. As far as the points I do know that we did part points and part cash because there are five of us. DH would know if he were awake!!
What I can share with you about our experience is limited. I took a tour with three other families I met on the board in Mazatlan. The tour guide, Frank, was awesome!
http://www.mazatlan-frank.com/ He took us all around the city which was very interesting. I also took my three children (then ages 11, 8, & 6) in PV to the dolphin excursion through Disney. I choose to spend a little more and use Disney because I was going alone with the kids. I like that they pick you right up at the boat, took you straight to the facility and straight back. It was money well spent for the kids, but there were many adults as well. I kind of wish I had done it. In Cabo we just took the kids to the beach and sat at "The Office" and enjoyed Dos Equis!! It is one of the restaurants right on the beach that has outdoor tables covered.
I know a couple of the other families took the excursion that was like repelling through the forest. They absolutely loved it! Also there were some who when horseback riding with a lady named Randi and enjoyed it as well.
http://www.randishappyhorses.com/I exchanged e-mails with her a couple of times, but limited my choices due to $ traveling with three kids since we had also spent a week at DL before the cruise! On the otherhand, DH only got off the boat in Cabo. He was perfectly fine with the boat and no one on it!!
On board a group did tequilla tasting (sorry I missed that!) and we did wine tasting! I loved that! I think pirate night was after we departed Mazatlan, but can't remember for sure.
The ports themselves were really not that thrilling to me, to be honest. I can't say that I would choose that particular cruise again, but do not regret I did it. It's another part of the world I have experienced! The best part of the cruise, by far, was the friendships I made. Several of us have maintained our friendships for the last almost two years. We have met in NYC (some more than once) and had a reunion last summer at WDW for a few days. I have to say that the people I met will be friends I will have for life because of our common interest in Disney. It's amazing how you can learn about people on the internet!!
Enjoy your cruise and feel free to let me know if you have anymore questions!
