Well friends...I transferred our reservation to this cruise...It looks like we are all set!!

Carolyn told me that my b-day and the Magic's b-day are the same...how fun is that?? Only I'm nineteen years older than her!

Fireworks...just for me??

It was great seeing everyone this weekend at DL...can't wait till next summer!

Well, we are back from DL and had a great time. Nice to meet Tom and family for a few minutes when we were with Scott and Lynn.

Did Nemo on Sunday, but it was a disaster getting the people to the ride at the park opening. No, it was a joke. They need to get something better in place. We were on submarine #2 out for the day, so it worked pretty well for us. None of the rides really had any wait time except for Nemo. Parks were not busy, guess everyone was at the beach fighting (from the news story on tv). They told us Monday night at Paradise Pier that it had gotten to 108 degrees on Monday.

Jamie and I were able to do the 1/2 marathon with the rest of the group, but never saw anyone after the start until the finish line. Runners/walkers were dropping like flies.

I enjoyed going through Anaheim Stadium since I went to lots of games there when I was a kid with all our family.

Our room at PP looked right out over the parking lot at GC and CA. When we went into the room I said to the bellhop (like I knew)..."Oh, looks like the new DVC resort has been started, we saw the stakes up when we were here in May." He replied, "yeah its great. The DVC resort will be done in about a year." I asked him if he knew how big or anything, but he didn't know the answer.

Like Scott said, we were able to pry some info out of the security guards at GC also. But, you couldn't get anything out of the DVC cast members at the kiosks. Obviously, they can't talk about it. One of the CM's said they can't confirm, because if something fell through, it would be like they were selling DVC and saying there was a new resort there and people might say they bought in with the plan of the new resort going in.

Bet if you go to the building permits office in Orange County you could find a permit issued to DVC for the resort.

Anyway, we had a great time, but it was way too hot. I think I would like to do the 5k through both parks if it is that hot again. Problem is, you never know until the actual weekend comes what the weather will be like.

It's hot here at home in Salt Lake, but we are getting those afternoon evening storms that are shooting through fast cuz of the heat and then we get wind and rain. Wuite a thunderstorm last night.

Okay, back to work.

I was reading your report/blog about your Mediterranean cruise and you mentioned scrapbooking classes on previous cruises.

My wife and her friend that is also on the cruise love to scrapbook.

Welcome Aboard Laurie and Michael!!!!!!! It's great to cruise with friends - new and old!

Hope everyone is having a great week - spent the morning at the Disneyland Hotel yesterday. Attended a conference. It seemed like I was just there. It must be Deja-vu all over again. You wouldn't have known they had 13,000 runners/walkers there just a few days ago - although I did see a Jelly Belly Power Bean mashed into the carpet.

Okay, I'll do a class since this is a 7 day cruise, but I'll have to figure what to design first, something around the 10 year anniversary for sure.

On the EB Med cruise, we did 14 pages which I had designed beforehand and basically everyone sits down together for an hour and a half or so and puts them together. We did an 8 x 8 book.

We will probably do something similar this cruise, but since it is a 7 night cruise, we will probably do 7 pages. Won't know the cost until I design it, but it is pretty darn cheap, just helps me to go towards the cost of the supplies.

Okay, that's the info on the scrapbooking class.

Sounds like the Disney CM's are behind the 8 ball on that one. Usually there is NOTHING left within hours of an event.

My wife use to sell stamps & scrapbook supplies (I won't mention the name of the company) and has friends that sell for one of the competing suppliers, so if you need any help, maybe I can volunteer her.

Her and her friend are talking about bringing some of their supplies, so they can have some girl time while the kids are in the Club and the DHs are beer-tasting, etc.

We are waitlisted for main dining. But, I have to ask...are Staci & Jaime at another table or don't they usually dine with you?? We have a gty cat 8. I was hoping we would get the room we've had for our last two cruises! Either that or maybe Michael will surprise me with a cat 3

I think we have them in our numbers, and with you three, that makes 15.
We can put the three girls at the one end of the table or, we can give them a separate table next to us. I can work it out with my buddy on the ship, whatever you feel comfortable doing.
