July 25 7 night trip.. 99% sure we are cancelling....

First off, congrats on completing your treatment!

One thing I’ve noticed when meeting friends, who reside in the south, at the parks in the summer is they all seemed to be less acclimated to the heat/humidity than my (still struggling, mind you lol) family, from PA.

Dawned on me that many FL residents are accustomed to having central AC at home (not as prevalent here with many having hot water/boiler heating systems) & wisely do their best to not venture out in the heat of day if they can avoid it.
Good point-- in Wisconsin we have been in shorts and tanks since it hit 55, and didn't turn on the AC until 90. Windows wide open . This is largely in part because we have to hide inside for so many months (5.5 usually) per year...Just depends on lifestyle.
 
Here in Florida, it’s all about the humidity..... Temperatures alone aren’t so bad it’s the heat & the humidity together that makes you melt.....

Me, I prefer melting over freezing....get used to it eventually.
