We are from the North East, Tynemouth on the coast east Newcastle.where are you from? ( so glad we don't have to fly!,! )
Hello, another UK family here booked up ready for the cruise. Me, wife and 7 year old son. Will be our 3rd cruise (son's second) with DCL.
Will be travelling down from Manchester area the day prior although probably staying a bit north of Dover in order to meet up with family and also use Hilton points for our overnight!
Well the good news is that you do not have any exchange rate risk, but I think you might not be able to prepay tips if booked in £, however using the 'gifts' section under 'planning' on their website you can put on a onboard credit, to your account to offset it.
Welcome to our Brits cruise!
Interestingly I tried to load $ onto our 4 day Bahamian cruise this year, which was booked in £, and I was only allowed to add credit in £ which they would convert (I was trying to pre-load as the rate was good).
Ironically this time round we've booked in $ even though departing from UK as have gone via a recommended TA.
Thanks!

We have had to cancel our reservation for this cruise. It has just become too expensive for us at this time. Airfare for 2 of us was $4000 alone. Thankfully we did this cruise with Disney back in 2010 so we know you will all have a great time. We are looking into using the DVC points we got back for either a Panama Canal, Alaska or Western Caribbean Disney Cruise next summer. We have done them all before too but, there is no such thing as a bad cruise with Disney! Have a wonderful cruise next July!![]()

Deb T. said:So sorry to see you go.Darned airfare - I've noticed that it's often a deal breaker for these overseas cruises.
Will your sister, brother-in-law, and friends still be traveling with us?
Both the Panama Canal and Alaskan cruises are on our bucket list.I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time on whichever cruise you choose.

Greetings! My family will be on the Jul 22nd cruise and are really excited! This will be our 4th Disney cruise. Family consists of myself, DH, DD (10), DS (12) and my mother.
We're also signed up for the Adventures By Disney tour for this cruise.
Our plan currently is to spend 2 pre-days in Stockholm and then 1 day in London before joining the cruise. I still need to think through hotels and transportation.
