We are planning to do it on our own after the tour on Friday. It's open late so we may grab something to eat there. The tours seem really high compared to doing it on your own.
Thanks for the warm welcome.Would love any suggestions or advice on what is a must see - ouside of England these are all new places for us.
Welcome.Hi All,
Hello from Northern California! I just found this thread. Tons of great ideas in here!
We booked our cruise nearly a year ago, but we keep changing the room category so I don't think we have a room assigned yet. We are a family of 4, Sherri - Mom, Brian - Dad, 15 year old daughter who turns 16 on the cruise and our 11 year old son. We are doing the Adventures by Disney stay in London before the cruise and staying an extra day in London after to see a show. This is our 8th Disney cruise and can't wait to sail the North Sea and Baltic with all of you!
Brian
Welcome to everyone! It's great to see so many new people joining us.![]()
Hello.I don't stop by here very often, only because I don't get "alerts", when there is a new post. I receive notification on the other threads I post on, but not this one, and I forgot to come and check.
We are good and plans are almost final. We will catch up soon.
I am awaiting news of the Princess name!
The bus from the port drops you off outside Tivoli (cost is 24DKK/person). I did not do the early entry thing last time, but a family we know did. We saw them leaving as we were arriving, so I'm guessing that they had about an hour in there before general admission. TBH the worst crowds were to get in!I'm researching the Tivoli Gardens. Definitely want to go there for the day. I'm comparing the "Tivoli All Inclusive Experience" offered by Disney at $229 Adults/$249 Kids USD VS. the "All Inclusive" package offered on the Tivoli Gardens website for approx $73 Adults/$50 Kids USD. The latter obviously doesn't include any transport to/from the ship, but if figure we can easily take a taxi or public transport. I also see Disney's package includes a guided historical tour and early entrance. How much earlier is it.... sounds like Disneyland "Magic Mornings".
Are there any other major differences I'm missing?
Disney Fantasy, good to see you are starting to imprint the coach sign into the coach travellers brains....
Paul/ Celestine will answer re the coach, it's a good location to tour London just out North West to the West End, on the Bakerloo tube line, ( Kilburn High road Stan closer than Madia Vale,) and near Paddington for Heathrow Express, but I think a lot of the hotels others have chosen are more near the river, Waterloo area, Southbank.
And I am going there Wednesday.
Good to see the Disney Cruiseline Oracle back posting...
Yes, many are staying in the Southbank area, but there is also another group of us clustered in the Notting Hill area!
Hi to all of the new families!
